That was our first losing season.

Marbury did have 1 stretch of 6 straight. My mistake. I guess Curry will have to go for 7 straight. Mods feel free to change the thread title since I was wrong

I'm pretty sure they could care less about that stat if we're losing those games as well, including the Sprewell steak. We were losing that season too.

That's a little surprising considering Houston scored 22.5 per and played 82 games in 2002-2003 and Marbury averaged 21.7 in 82 games in 2004-2005.

Yeah it doesnt really mean anything...

Nobody said it had to include losing. Thats the pessimist way of looking at things. If EC scores 20 and we win that will make us 3-3 during EC's streak

It's only significant that it's a Center doing it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Charles Smith accomplished this with the clippers too.

Smith was a pretty good PF as a Clipper before he tore his Knee so thats a lame swipe at curry

He was good at piling up useless stats on a garbage team while giving up more than he contributes. Eddy has a lot in common with him.

I'm not sure why this is noteworthy but I'll tell you exactly why it's happening. It's not because Curry is having a breakout year or has improved much. It's because they're making a concerted effort to give him the ball more.

He's averaging a few more shots a game and therefore he's averaging 2 points more than last year. He's put up these kinds of numbers before by the way. In his last 2 years with Chicago.

I'd be more impressed if he didn't let every point guard come into the lane for easy layups. Especially at crunch time. Did you see TJ Ford coming in for a layup any damn time he pleased?

You want to know why we can't win these close games at home? Because our perimeter defense stinks. Our interior defense stinks. Our help defense stinks. Our man to man defense stinks...

It's not the Knicks fans fault.

They have done that before and he has gotten in early foul trouble.

I guess now to avoid the inevitable foul trouble, Curry is backing off even more with his defense. To the point where anyone who wants to come into the paint for a layup can do so with impugnity.

When David Slowed down Bosh, Curry punched his shot. THe guards can't let TJ come into the lane in a bee line. Ford only had the one layup in the 4th any way.................. Minimize away!!!

Aren't you a young guy? If so, you should remember all those early offensive fouls from barreling into defenders in the post.
