I don't mind them from the second unit to give the team a boost but when Jefferies & Frye come back we need to implement the following line-up

Pg: Marbury, Francis
Sg: Q-Rich, Nate
Sf: Jefferies, Crawford
Pf: Frye, Balkman
C: Curry,Lee

Line-up that finishes games

Pg: Marbury
Sg: Crawford
Sf: Q-Rich
Pf: Jefferies

That was silly, with 4 guards + David Lee as the center. I think Jeffries will do wonders in helping prevent lanky 3pt shooters like Prince from going off.

Dont most teams guard 6-11 pfs with 6 foot 2 pgs? UGHHHHHHHHHH
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Don't know if this game was winnable, but the lineups were a bit screwy.

Isiah has yet to establish a rotation the guys can count on.

He keeps the starters intact, but little else.

DLee gotta save it for Bosh tommorow nite.

IT is somewhat limited because he has no Frye or Jeffries. So he is trying to win with offense and hope that his zones will work on the defensive end. Jeffries' return should make a huge difference in our ability to play defense and matchup.

The small lineup has gotten the Knicks back into games that were blowouts...The small lineup got the Knicks back into the Celtic game at the Garden...Got the Knicks back into last night game....

Also lots here still drying about Marbury...He seems to be one most capable of running this offense efficiently..

I havent seen the small lineup working 90% of the time.
With the Knicks struggling using a small lineup - four guards and David Lee - they fell behind 14 points with 1:55 left in the third after Prince backed in Marbury for an easy turnaround. Thomas said he used the small lineup to push the pace because the Pistons were playing the back end of a back-to-back.

Most capable of running the offense on this team isn't something to hang your hat on.

People always bash Jcraw on his shot selection but at some point does Marburys 38% shooting this year become a problem?

OK...How about being the Knicks' best player since being here....He may be a shoot first guard but his better than everyone one on this club getting to ball to people where they are most comfortable...Well maybe thats not important to you but I bet you it's important to those players..

He was the best when he got here. Age and injuries have slowed him down. I think he is probably around 5th-7th best now.

I think I can't complain about this anymore.......... I'm all "complained" out. The Guard line ups of 3(usually Marbury/Francis and Jcrawford) only works about 30 percent of the time. THe four and five almost never help. I'll break down why.

See I can live with Q, Marbury and Francis, because Q has Small forward tendenices. Guards(Francis, Crawford, Nate, Marbury) generally stay out of the paint. How many times have I seen our team confused on who has to take the other teams small forward or switch on to a big because Lee/Curry are caught guarding somebody else or not help with coming back for rebounds.

And on offense Guards usually stand at the three point line and wait for kick outs, which is why the offense look competely dead when we have three or four guards on the floor with one guy dribbling and the others finding a place to spot up.

Isiah needs to sit Marbury in the second halves of these games. He is useless!!!!!!!

And this all changed over the summer...There is no doubt in my mind Marbs can score on the pace he did last year...He is jsut starting to get his legs back....It seem like he didn't work as hard this past summer because of injuries or his marketing campaign...He also isn't domninating the ball as much this year...I think it's important to get the rest of the team off before he gets his...I think when everyone else has confidence and begin to play their games you will see a more aggressive marbury...I also don't think Marbs poor start was his own doing but i think he is far from done....5-7 best player on this team...I really wish that was the case the we would have a damn good team..
