Looking at the past couple of games, the Bulls doesn't count because we were without Q who provides a lot of defense and punch offensively, the team looks increasingly better without Frye in the lineup killing the team defensivly.

Lee has been horrible with turning the ball over, but when he is in the game and Balkman is in there fighting we just look like a much better team. And although i hate eddy curry, if the guards would make more of an effort to use him like Crawford and Francis were doing last night he is going to finish in point blank range with authority something Frye can't do without a running start.

Once Jefferies returns and we add another defender I think we should be able to capitalize at home and not fall behind early, and start to climb into the winning ranks.

Curry/Frye are so bad on the defensive that the only way this team will ever be succeful is to utlize lineups that contain the following Lee/Q/Jefferies with one of the bigs at all times.

This team isn't that far away if Isiah uses the right lineups and allows Crawford and Nate to drive and setup Curry more often.

I think Lee sucked in turning the ball over at home against the Bulls and that was uncalled for. The 6 TO he had in Chicago are very misleading 2 of them was him saving the ball out of bounds but 4 is too many. Nice to see he didnt have any last night. I think nate is killing this team, he plays no defense and I think that is why he is in IT doghouse. I really think this team will make a run in December and play .500 ball.

I had a feeling this would happen. Frye is an asset. frye is a weapon but our starting lineup is much better without him. frye should be our 6th man ala kevin mchale. Then he can come in and shoot as much as he likes. For one reaon or another he really hurts our starting lineup. Let Lee start and have Frye be our 6th man. Lee Curry and frye should all play 30plus minutes.

I haven't noticed Frenchy's absence in the least.

He is not missed.

Lee is turnover-prone, yeah, but he compliments Eddy a lot better than Frye does. Lee does a lot of the stuff Eddy has troubles with, namely rebounding.

I have no problem at all having Frye come off the bench as the 6th or 7th man.

You know, I was in the minority in terms of not wanting Lee to start because he was playing so well off the bench. Plus, I didn't think Fry and Curry had ample time together in the starting lineup to give a full assessment.

But seeing how Curry is really comming on in the post, I think it might make more sense now, to keep Lee in the starting line-up only because Fryes' presence might take some looks away from Curry early.

its as clear as day that Frye needs to come off the bench when he returns but I guarantee you he will be plugged right back in there

So in other words, looking at the past 2 games (but ignoring the one loss)-- so, judging by yesterday's game against the 10 games or so Frye has played-- the starting lineup looks much better without Frye?

Too early to tell.

You just cannot put horrible & David Lee in the same sentence. The kid is a rebounding, hustling machine that finishes like a man (unlike every other big man on the team) & has a handle & can pass well.

I think Lee should play 30 minute a night at PF. And then, when Frye returns, let him get fat on other teams 2nd units, both as a back-up PF and C.

I think it would be a major mistake to start frye and I'm one of fryes biggest fans. Frye should play 30 plus ala Mchale as our 6th man. Curry and Lee are just too good a tandam to mess with. we have 96 minutes at pf and center. Frye, Cury and Lee should play 32 minutes a piece.

It absolutely amazes me how weak Curry's hands are. If anybody slaps the ball or makes contact w/ Curry when he has the ball, it goes flying.

Come on dude, man up. Hit the weights. Watch a little film of Shaq dunking - WITH TWO HANDS - while people have hung on his neck his entire career.

I've wanted Frye out of the starting lineup since last season. I am not surprised that Eddy Curry has had his best scoring games since Lee was inserted in the starting lineup at the PF because Lee allows Eddy Curry to just worry about scoring while Lee covers the boards. No surprise to me and when Frye is healthy again, I expect him to be coming off the bench until further notice.

Fyre is ****ing terrible he can't defend or get his own shot, and not just the last two games but you have seen the entire season that the team plays much better when lee is on the court at all times, because he is rebounding better and someone you can never leave because he is going to score the ball in the paint something frye does not do....

And I can leave out the bulls game because balkman was our starting 3 and we had no depth off the bench because of it. And its not too early to tell, Frye needs to be a bench player lose the weight he put on and become more agile because Eddy is this teams center and we are never going to move him so that leaves Frye out of luck......

Thank you. By the way I dont think Currys hands are weak. I think his hands are very strong. I think he has a gentle touch not weak hands. The problem with him regarding his hands is a lack of concetration with the ball. Its not that he cant hold the ball. Its like he treats it like a nerf ball at times. He doesnt realize how valuable each possesion is.

Frye was just starting to get it together and when he does, he's gonna be a BIG asset to this club. He's gonna start, cuz that's how Isiah sees him. He has starter skills in terms of his overall game. He can block shots and he can shoot with range. He can post up. He's not nearly as bad as some are making him out to be on D. The thing is that he's not as quick and agile as Lee, so you will always consider Lee to be a better team defender.

I understand what Isiah wants to do. He's looking towards the time when he gets Jared back and he can have Jared, Frye and Curry back there to give the team more defensive length and coverage of the floor. Now obviously Lee will also figure into that picture, but off the bench. I'm not sure Isiah would want two guys, in Jarad and Lee who can't shoot on the floor, thus he wants Frye out there in the SL.

Personally, I'd prefer we have Jeffries show his worth before we shove him into the starting lineup. He's yet to play a game for us and I'd rather we see how he can mesh with this squad. And if he absolutely does have to start, (IMO) it would be absolutely unfair to send Lee back to the pine for him.

I agree with you and i mentioned that he had terrible hands and everyone disagreed. He cant hold onto the ball in traffic, if someone taps the ball, its out of his hands. Im really not sure if he can palm the ball.

hmm, but Curry's soft hands are what keep his apologists excited.
