Marbury and Francis probably played too many minutes. But we defended. We didnt quit. The team I saw tonight can plays basketball in this league. Fyre should play with the second unit. That will help him and the team. Balkman should average around 15-20 minutes. When Jeffries comes back we might have a legit starting lineup.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

it's not about quitting. it's about WINNING. we can not win close games b/c we don't have a floor leader to run the offense in crunch time. our ball handlers are not smart so chances are we're going to be saying "i like the effort too bad we lost" alot of times this year.

I like when Craw is running the team in the 4th quarter. we usually look better. Marbury has killed a lot of close games for us this year.

The quicker Dolan realizes that waiving Marbury is cheaper than paying him to play, the quicker this team starts to turn it around.

If Curry hadn't had a decent offensive game this thread wouldn't exist. The team actually quit with about a little over 6min to go by playing the most insanely idiotic basketball from that point on. Nate and Crawford looked lost, Jerome James uhhhhh psssssssssst, Lee looked like he was going to pass out. Franics had an even kill game, Balkman proves he fills a need and Curry had his 1 of every 5 or 6 good games.

The FRAUD will be waived in 2weeks!

I hope you are right about the fraud. they did run out of gas, but were missing Frye and Q who have played a lot of minutes and Q has done a lot of heavy lifting on D and rebounding that we missed.

I really hope you are right about the fraud.

also - Curry has three straight solid games. he's at like 22ppg and 8rpg the last three.

our backcourt aren't good decision makers, aren't good defenders, and we have no go-to guy.

we had a little more motion to our offense but it still consists of a lot of backcourt freelancing. it sure doesn't look like a combination of three historically great systems. it looks like steve dribbling and steph popping and lee cleaning up. and 1 of every 3 games eddy is also involved.

The Knicks need a REAL point-guard to run this team. They need someone who is a floor-general, someone who can control the flow of the game and they need someone who can be the glue to the team and make a huge mark out on the court running plays and directing traffic. Marbury is NONE of these things. Get him out of here and then start looking for someone who can do these things.

In addition to this, I would LOVE to see the Knicks acquire a pure SG and run Q at the 3 when he comes back. The Knicks lack a true SG, someone who can break teams down from the wing and drain the 3 consistently. Is there anyway to get Ray Allen from Seattle?

I'm telling you - Craw can be that guy, but he needs to be given the reins. he'll make some bad decisions at first, but I think he'll grow into it.

I thought he worked very hard contesting a ton of shots. With Lee cleaning up the glass he seems more aggressive. Even our announcers who like to bash on EC mentioned him contsting several shots.

actually curry intimidated a lot of shots tonight, I don't know what DJ was watching...... lee and balkman looked good, if balk can hit that jumper consistently he will be a hell of a player in this league...

Francis is playing well, and spirited... Marbury can't feed the post, doesn't know when to go with the hot hand, unless it is his own, and he can't run a team.....

The team I saw before they ran out of gas comepeted for every ince. Marbury and Francis ran out of gas. They probably shouldnt have played as much but Isiah didnt want to change them when things were going well.

Lee defended and rebounded. Yeah he got burnt from outside by Nocioni but thats a PF being asked to guard the 3 point line.

Balk showed energy all over the court

Francis was very good going to the hoop and feeding the post

Marbury had some questionable shots but he defended and is learning have to do a pick and roll on offense instead of a pick and pop.

Curry was a man against Wallace down low. When the 4 time DPOY needs double help play after play against our center than we have a real weapon! When was the last time we had a player score 20 plus 3 games in a row?

Isiahs 3-4-5 guard lineups continue to be a negative. I wish he would stop already. They havent worked all year.

too many times the lane opened up like the red sea. eddy played 39 mins and no blocks. he was the tallest guy out there.

Maybe. I thought he did a good job the last two weeks of last season. but his inconsistency is scary. we really need someone stable in that position.

I don't get to see him a lot, but I've like what I've seen of Earl Watson. He's not flashy but he seems capable, and possibly available.

Marbury needs to go that's it! Francis and no other guard for that matter can play their game with Marbury on the floor! It is so obvious its unbelievable. Pay attention too how much better we play when Stevie is on the floor WITHOUT Marbury its sickening! Its Night and Day!
Isiah has to see this and I believe he does. Steph is on his last leg with this team!

I would take Earl. Man, Larry would love that one - waive Marbury, acquire Watson.

People just get in a habit of bashing certain players regardless. Ask a Bulls fan who looked better Curry or Wallace. Curry dominated him. I'm glad you said that TKF. I really like the way franics is playing other than the over dribbling. Balk and Lee did very well. We ran out of gas and Marbs is just a bit old. we will get there one day. :)
