i say Isiah signs Qyntel Woods & brings him back to add some depth to the roster.

C - Curry / Cato / Big Turd
PF - Lee / Malik
SF - Balkman / Qyntel
SG - Francis / Crawford
PG - Marbury / Nate / Collins
IR - Frye / Q Rich / Jefferies

would look even better if Marbury isn't in the equation & everyone gets healthy imo:

C - Curry / Cato
PF - Frye / Lee
SF - Jefferies / Balkman / Qyntel
SG - Q Rich / Crawford
PG - Francis / Nate / Collins
IA - Malik / Big Turd

PG - Lee
SG - Nate
SF - Balkman
PF - Malik
C - Jerome

That's probably what you all want to see...

Honestly, our defense might be a bit better without Frye, but our offense without Q and Frye is gonna be terrible. Play zone, and we are dead.

sure, why not? even if they sign Woods on a 1 year veteran's minimum deal, it wouldn't be that bad of an investment considering JJ's questionable status even after he returns off the IR as well as Q Rich's hamstring problem.

i don't think Qyntel's got many teams knocking down his door these days... we can do the same w/him & sign him to a 10 day contract, can't we? or are there provisions in the CBA where he's entitled to the veteran's minimum? i know guys like Miki Moore have been in & out of the league on similar contracts, so i don't see why we can't do the same w/Qyntel... at least he's got some familiarity w/some of the players on this team already, & he's shown that he can be effective when he's on the floor... i don't see a downside here.

I think Collins see alot more playing time:
Curry/Jamse or Cato
Lee/Rose
Crawford/Balkman(if Q is out)
Francis/Nate
Marbury/Collins

If Q plays then Collins will get marburys mintues when we sit him.....

I can't imagine how Isiah would have time to spot the next Butler when coaching is a full-time job.

true, true, and it's another reason coach should never be GM. Course, Jimmy boy probably told Isiah he can't make any trades so that option is out for NY anyway.

we can't play Jamal at the 3 for any long stretches of the game... other teams will exploit the size weakness on a nightly basis... i know Isiah likes to run small for stretches of the game... no reason why he still couldn't do that... w/Q Rich out for a few days this team lacks depth at the swingman position, as funny as that sounds after we started the season w/a glut at the position.

That's why Glen Grunwald is here. I'm sure they consult.
