I don't need the mass orgie from the regulars around here, you know who your are ok. BUt this team reLLy doesn't have a head. Which doesn't mean the teamis bad or they are lost every night, because on many nights you see Lee take charge or Crawford or Francis or Q........ even marbury. BUt if we had a "Head" on the court(Doesn't mean a point guard or any one position) that payer would pervent this from getting terrible. So Larry was kind of right, this team needs a player to keep things together when they go bad. I don't how many wins this team would have if there was a player on the team that would keep the team from falling behind by 24 or 26 points.... imagine if a player kept the score at 12 or 14 points down. When we would make our run, we would be blowing teams out int the fourth and third quarters instead of cutting the deceit to 14 in the third or 5 in the fourth.

I'll kind of give the old bat that much............. that's all i got to say.

yeah, I've said this to a few friends, maybe on the board too, but if you look at the Knicks compared to most teams - spots 3-12 on the 12man roster we are as good or better than most teams, but we need an all-star, a leader.

most teams turn to their all-star to win the games, we have to sit ours to have a chance. Marbury used to be a leader when he first got here, but he is going down in flames. something is definitely wrong with him, but he needs to go ASAP.

Just you wait, a few more games and you'll wish Brown was the one left in charge.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

agree.

It's the equivalent of having 5 #3 pitchers in baseball instead of a #1, #2, #3, #4, #5,

Brandon Tierney was saying before the game that the 2/3 zone that the Knicks are using is the Temple version which is being taught to the players by Mardy Collins.

He can be the head of this team in time.

^^^i hope so, because an Head doesn't have to a star player either. Just a guy who keeps the team from making the stupid mistakes like when Crawford took that layup into three bulls or Francis turned the ball over...... Somebody to just keep the game in reach until we make our run......

Please! Just like your 0-82 sig, you're comment SUCKS! This team has shown FAR more fight and desire than LB's team showed, so I would NEVER WISH for what he did to this team. The only thing that has come to be proven accurate on his part is our poor guard play. Even still in a game like we had tonight it was more than guards not playing well. It was EVERYONE, not playing smart or hard. I don't think that this team is gonna end up anything like LB's team, cuz i think this team actually has more fight in them. They don't want to lose, but sometimes lack the mental discipline to WIN. Clearly we have enough talent to win. It's now a matter of getting this team to consistently perform as a unit and to stick to the system.

No, its worse than that. It's like that + 9 #7 hitters.

Your looking at a whole seasn in hindsight while this team is 13 games in thus far in the FIRST MONTH of the season.

The team is also a year more mature and the rookies were well coached last year. They got plenty of minutes.

Isiah has the same problem as Larry except he has a core together a year longer than Larry.

This team SHOULD be better.

The true test comes with our long homestands. We need to make up ground in the next 5 weeks!

I'm fine with what Isiah has done so far. The team should be ahead of where they are, but if they were, he'd be having an OUTSTANDING season. Even if we were only .500 at home. I don't expect this bad play at home to continue. I think we'll figure out something and the competition level drops off with lots of home games in December. If he can't get this team on a major roll in December then i'd get worried.

But he also wanted Francis lol. Depending on how good Francis look I guess. If he looks good IT is the man for getting him, if not, its LB's fault. And Layden's fault.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
