i know someone mentioned posey's name jokingly... he just got traded to houston as a 3 way deal involving Hou/Den/Phi so it's safe to say Layden will not trade for him.

i think houston got the best of this deal and denver really got screwed

Kiki is adding more draft picks which is good to a point.You can go
too far and not have enough veteran players.Denver should trade those picks for some experience to help mentor their prospects.

after that trade it seems as though denver is really tanking the season and going after lebron.

a team of lebron, nene, and camby would be a lot of fun to watch.

Though it could always backfire, I think Kiki is smart here. Posey would have walked after this season anyway, so instead of getting nothing for him, Kiki gets a 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder.

Remember, Kiki wants to get an All-Star free agent in the summer AND get a future All-Star in the draft, so he wants a high pick. He knows what he's doing. Denver fans know what he's up to, and I would imagine they are supportive of his efforts.

Still, it could be a long time before Denver is a playoff team, but, then again, it's been a long time for them already.
