Probably, if these knicks would make the playoffs (if they were starting today) the east is a joke.

Only 1 game out of the 3rd seed! Isiah definitely won't get fired if the team is on pace to make the playoffs IMO.

If JJ2 can have a positive impact on the team's overall defensive performance, this team will get to .500, which is likely enough to make the playoffs in the East.

The 7th team in the East would be next to last in the West... this is ridiculous.

The East is not as bad as it looks - right now Miami, Chicago and the Nets are all struggling and those teams are the likely division winners. Though Cleveland might take advantage of Chicago's slow start to win the division.

In the West, Phoenix and Dallas are off to extremely slow starts. The standings will correct themselves by January/February, but the Knicks can stay in the playoff race in the East. I don't know why people think they're so horrible. Because we lost some tough games to Houston and San Antonio? The only really bad loss has been the Minnesota game. The Atlanta loss was bad, but Atlanta has looked better this year.

I agree. That Boston loss at home was pretty bad too when you consider we just blew-out Wash and Miami and was trying to get somehting started at home.
