How does buying out Francis make us better? Were better off holding onto him just in case we can somehow trade him. We should have held onto Jalen Rose also too see what we could have gotten.

There's only one GM and owner in the whole league who would want Francis. And unfortunately he's already playing for that team. So, yes, he's untradeable.

Did you see what the Knicks gave up for Francis and now his value is even lower than that. The dude is not tradeable and the only GM in the leauge that WOULD trade for him is currently the GM and the Coach of the Knicks.
