As much as people hate Francis on this team, he is still trying to be a team player. He actually went to Isiah and told him he would prefer to come off the bench for the betterment of the team. Why can't Marbury take that attitude? It is obvious he can't play with anyone in the starting lineup. Whether it is Jamal or Francis.

do you guys really believe that?
The bold move could backfire, too, if Francis sulks. Some construed a Thomas remark as hinting Francis hatched the idea, but that's unlikely. Especially when Francis said, "I'm straight with it. I'm not going to make an issue coming off the bench."

"I'm not going to make an issue about coming off the bench," Francis said. "We're just going to move on and hopefully it will help us get better."

yeah, sounds like francis was begging isiah to come off the bench.
