The Lakers are 10-16 and Phil Jackson is yelling at the players. What do you think will happen this season:
The Lakers will improve, make the playoffs and win yet another championship
The Lakers will improve, make the playoffs, but lose to Sacramento
The Lakers will continue their downward spiral and miss the playoffs. Phil Jackson will quit coaching
Shack will demand a trade; the Knicks will trade Ward, Knight and Doleac for him

the lakers are beatable this year, mostly because they may not have home court advantage throughout the playoffs. I say it's up for grabs for about 3-4 teams out west.
