getting a new gm goes without saying.
a new coach goes without saying.

but the most important thing the actual team needs is a point guard.

what coach can implement a system without a guy on the court executing it?

it's becoming more and more evident by the day that we don't have a guy that knows what to do with the ball and how to get others involved.

I find it very ironic that so many people chose PG as a high priority need.
At the point guard position, we have not one but TWO former all-stars where
we don't have any all-star caliber players at any other position.
While I agree it would be nice to have a pass-first point guard, I think we
would be better off getting RID of a point guard and getting:

1. a tough beast upfront that can play D and grab rebounds and put backs (I know David
Lee is doing a good job, but somebody in the pivot that could make people regret
treading in the paint -- a Mutombo or Alonzo type)
2. a consistent outside shooter
3. a GM that has a plan and that doesn't get taken to the cleaners on every trade.
