Bravo.. I mean seriously.. this guy was shooting 60 somethin percent last year? Hes up in the 80s and it looks like he really got his stroke down.

This guy is the epidome of hard work... do we have the next bill lambier on our hands??? I wouldent trade this guy for anyone. He should be a knick for 10-12 years.

I just want to see him be able to hit that mid-range pass-the-basket shot. It would propel him from bench spark plug to SOLID starter.

i wouldn't be shocked to see him knocking down that midrange jumper next season w/consistency... this kid's work ethic is unreal.

next year he makes the Allstar team easy imo.

Allstar, wow, that's an ass-hang. Add a consistent midrange jumper and the ability to direct team defense and I'll join that parade. Not yet though.

the thing about that midrange J is that David Lee is rarely even in that part of the floor.. He stays around the basket thats what makes him so effective... The only thing that would really make that part of his game is if they ran pick and pops for him in the offense.. which is kind of pointless when you have Frye.. Why not run it for Frye and have Lee down there for the board? - Basically.. If the opportunity is there i'd like to see David knock it down, but its not his game to be sittin out 15 feet tryin to get jumpers down

his defense has improved leaps & bounds from last season... he's really becoming a nice all around player for this team... he even took Yao off the dribble on a nice crossover & drive too... the kid's got some nice skills & can score w/either hand... & he's 1 of the most vocal guys on this squad.

i think if he does develop that midrange shot & he still doesn't make the Allstar team next year, i think it will only be from lack of recognition from the voters... like i said a few days ago, give this kid starter's minutes & he's putting up 12/12 easily right now, even w/o a perimeter shot to fall back on... toss in a couple made jumpers to that total & we're talking 15/12, 16/11 type #'s for this kid... hell, he put up 15/12 last night off nothing but putbacks & finishes around the rim.

Agree with that. You have to put a body on him because he's so active anyway...its not like teams are sitting back and begging him to take the jumper. And he's far from an offensive liability because he does a good job filling lanes and moving the ball from the high post.

if you want Lee to turn into an all-star... Run plays for him and see how he responds... Maybe he needs to develop a post game.. I dont know, but honestly im happy with the type of player he is now. I Honestly think in 5 years hes gunna be all defensive team, thats more of a realistic goal

I am glad he is working on his free throws...you can really see him practicing on it during the warmups. If he can start having a 15 footer jump shot, he will be golden

The funny thing is everyone is starting to face guard him and he still gets he offensive boards. I dont care if he takes one shot out of the shallow end. Hit your free throws, rebound, dont turn the ball over, play 25 minutes and average a double-double and laugh all the way to the bank. He lived in NYC and he worked out on his jumper and free throws. He deserves to start on this team somewhere

He plays smart if you can get 10 points on dunks and put backs why go shoot outside. Hell the kNicks have enough guys that they think can shoot and have a FG% of about 40%. Sooner or later they will have to play him more.

yup, and he has the ability to be a better passer than those guys. He is more fluid too.

I forgot about that, you're right. He is PERFECT for this team, and he definitely needs to start alongside Frye or Curry.
