Reminds me of Charlie Ward blocking Ric Smits in the playoffs. Great moment in a disappointing loss.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Was that a block from behind, though? I can't remember. A block from behind is less impressive than this one where Yao actually saw Nate and just could not get as high as Nate.

No sir. Charlie Ward came running from the side and jumped in front of him (While Smits was attempting a baseline 3) and knocked the ball into the 3rd row. I would say both blocks were equally impressive.

I think I actually burst my load when this happened.

The Nate dunk on Yao made front page on digg. Can't say that happens everyday.

the Nate block was much more impressive than Charlie's block of Smit's jumpshot... Yao was trying to take it to the hole & Nate stuffed it right back in his face... that's a 5'8" guy blocking a 7'5" guy's dunk attempt.

btw, A-fan, awesome find on that pic... too bad this board doesn't allow avatars.

I think both were equally impressive. I give the nod to Charlie's, only because it was the playoffs.

ok, u got me there... the playoffs was huge, but in terms of athleticism & impressive single feats, i'd say the Nate block had alot more difficulty factor.
