from Nate's blog:
We’ve been real busy trying to win as many games as we possibly can. We should have won more of them. I mean, we could have a 9-1 record. We’re working at getting in sync with each other. We’re trying to adjust to that and to each other. We’re definitely playing better than we did last year. It’s just going to take some time.
Pretty much all of our games have been close, unlike last season. This year we’re not getting blown out by anybody.
So if I had to give our team a report card so far, here’s how I’d grade it:
I’d give us an A+ for our effort for sure. For our togetherness, I’d give us an A. For execution I’d give us a C+. We definitely need to execute better. Overall I think we probably deserve a B-. There is room for improvement, for sure.
We have a lot of home games in December, and we’re just looking at each game at a time. Hopefully, we can get an A by the All-Star break.
Coach Isiah says we can always play better. We’ve been finishing games pretty strong for the most part, but starting slow, and he wants us to have that intensity from the start.
I think we’re going to be a good team down the stretch. We’ll make the playoffs as long as we play hard. We’ll win a lot more games than people think we will.
dude... Knicks were 4-7 when this came out. Yea, I guess you could say there's room for improvement. I hope he's just trying to stay positive.
