ok, so david would get a string of dnp's or miniscule minutes for "no apparent reason" last season under lb.

this year, frye has started every game, less than half of 2nd half's, and doesn't play after the 24 minute mark in the game.

what's the deal? i guess isiah is sabotaging the team...

What was stranger to me is that Big Game didn't get tick in the second half. I don't like Big Game but I would have liked to see him get 4-7 minutes in the second half for conditioning. I guess he could have been sore or something so maybe that's why he didn't play.

Yeah, that annoyed me. I was praising Big Game during the first half and then he never got a chance in the 2nd half as the game was slipping away.

As for Frye, it's nice to see Isiah sabotaging his career.

If Frye played as well as Lee, he'd be getting minutes both halves. You have to earn your minutes. Lee's earning them big time. Frye's been inconsistent at best. Isiah's probably giving Frye a few last chances before replacing him with Lee in the starting lineup.

I actually think Frye has been playing consistently the past 3 games. Why does Curry start the second halves? If anyone is benched it should be him

I think Isiah's plan is to have JJ2 replace Frye in the starting lineup when he comes back.

Can't do that. They have to have as few different starting lineups as possible no matter what.

But playing time for everyone will still be up and down, especially with both JJ's back. Just like last year. That's what happens when you have players that don't complement each other, specifically the starters.

I've already answered this in spades, but here goes again:

Frye played bad enough in the beginning of the season to warrant benchings and greatly diminished minutes. In the past few games he has been much better and pretty efficient on offense as well as challenging big time around the basket.

I have been surprised at how little he has been used in the second half of games, and I don't agree with it, especially last night's game, and I am worried that Isiah is a little too in love with Balkman.

It is my feeling that Curry is the one who should be having his minutes cut lately due to his poor play, mental lapses and poor effort.

However, I will give Isiah the benefit of the doubt for around 25 games, same as I did for LB last year, before I start cutting into him. Patience. I don't get nuts with every win or loss, coaching error or nice coaching move, player slump or hot period.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Bro, even I agree that Frye should be starting these second halves and sitting Curry. I still stand by the mopinion that you have to go with one of these guys and use the other to obtain a more useable piece.

You can buld a championship with effort. You can't with potential.

If you are going to move Curry, a 23 yr old massive center who at least is a bit more than sevicable, I just don't wanna get taken.

You have to make sure you get something useful. I posted a trade of Jamal and Eddy for Joe Johnson. Now I know that is far fetched (especially this season) but that is the type of deal I am talking about.

Give me something like Amare(a rugged true PF), Joe Johnson (a true consistent SG)...a young stud that we know is going to be good.

with potential must come effort, this is where Isiah forgot to check... 4 times by my count(add Big Game, Marbury, Francis to list).
