The knock on Curry since he entered the league was that he was soft on D, didn't block shots (or change them for that matter) and wasn't a strong rebounder. But the one part of his game you couldn't deny was his aggressiveness in the paint.

All of a sudden, he's become soft in the paint. Whats up with these soft flip shots he's been tossing at the rim lately? Wheres the explosiveness? He was having trouble getting his shot over Perkins tonight. Last yr, he had a decent hook shot that he made at a good percentage. This yr, I can't recall him making one hook shot. Its to the point now, that if the guards don't penetrate and set him uo for an easy dunk, he aint scoring. Even when they dish him the ball after getting into the paint, how many times does he get stripped of the ball?

Jerome James, I repeat, Jerome James is more polished in the paint than Curry is. The next time we see Curry making a drop-step spin move to the basket (like James did last nite against the Heat)will be the first time.

I've defended Curry for some time on this board, but not any more. I did critique him, but usually I would say, well he is only 24. He's 6'11, 300lbs, i wish he would play and act like it.

You know.... I kinda agree with this. Not entirely because it is a team game, but his play pushed the Knicks a long way.

Blame Curry all you want, because while he's a heartless turd..

We're the only team in the L without a real franchise player or superstar to make things happen. Thank you Mr. Thomas for compounding the problem, way to go!

I rather see Karate James on the court myself than Curry at times. However that is Isiah's fault because he should had made the adjustment with Curry and James.

The really sad part is it's not just tonight.

We could be watching this for a few years, if he and Channing do not improve defensively. We have two young, very one dimensional players (a dunker and a jump shooter) who we've sacraficed a great deal to obtain. By no means am I giving up on these two, but they've got to step up and show real improvement. While wins and losses are important, my stance is slowing beginning to change on what would deem this season a success or failure.

Let's not kid ourselves, we have alot riding on these guys.

Man, Curry blew it last nite. He is too marshmallow in the post for sake. I'm not getting any confidence in his abilities to be a stud center who can play consistent D and O in the interior if ever. The man need to go to boot camp and get a nasty streak. Ok maybe he won't survive boot camp. Herb and Isiah's best friend can't do squat with Turd Curry. I think Curry would cry if Oakley or Ewing were his trainer. I honestly don't know what else to make of him. He blows and doesn't make an impact with the knicks. I would rather have Frye and Lee start at the 5 and 4. Jerome...makes a better back up center at this point.

Mark Agguire has curry playing like a small forward vs. centers in the post. Its becoming very tough to constantly stick up for Curry and his play. I'm starting to give up on him because I can't see a basket coming from one of his shots if it isn't a dunk. Curry just seems like he just doesn't care about basketball so I really don't think he cares about winning.

forget about offense. curry just stands there looking at the ball coming off the rim for rebounds.

rebounding is 100% effort. that's why david lee and balkman are good at it. b/c they go all out to get boards.

curry is watching the ball hit off the rim like he just saw ET flying on his bike.

AWFUL. PUTRID. and down right DISSAPOINTING.

Curry has absolutely no passion for basketball. Maybe he can leave and become a Gymnast. How the hell do you wake this Fing sleeping giant. Maybe Isiah can steal his damn goose that lays his golden egg in this case withhold his pay check.

Before we tie Curry to a stake and burn him- consider that he might be over-thinking and trying too hard.

However, I was against the deal to bring him here and it certainly is starting to look like he is the second coming of Oliver Miller.

Yes- bench Curry- start Frye at center, where he has looked better, and have Lee start.

If we could get something for Curry- someone had posted Francis and Curry for Garnett- I say do it because I don't think he has it.

He might be a nice player in a smaller market with lower expecations.

Don't forget this character comparison was brought to you courtesy of MUA.

It was funtimes this summer and around pre-season leading up to the regular season. You had all these gullible fans clutching to the reports that he'd lost weight and that he's committed himself to being a force yada yada. Then we had certain ones posting daily journals on his perceived production improvement.

I never have been on board with anything concerning Curry after last season. He's a total waste.

I guess what puzzles me is the fact, wether it's Marbruy, Curry, Zeke, Dolan... etc etc, you have people trying to defend them, when their career's and current play suggest otherwise. It's as if many are brainwashed or something. Kind of sad when it really gets down to it.
