He is too unbridled that is not going to work in the so called free flowing offence we suppose to have. I can't even watch him anymore, sure he has over 30 points but he takes the most moronic shots and dribble more than Marbury and Francis combined. It exciting to see do the crap he does but that's not how we are going to win games. I pray we trade his ass ASAP.

I agree. Last year Crawford was my favorite Knick right there with Lee but this year its been digusting seeing those isos and watching him hoist up crazy shots like the Jamal of old

I disagree completely. We need to start him over one of the duplicative guards.

At least they are not jacking up 20 to 30 shots a game, they are actually trying out the team concept which is more than I can say for Crawford recently.

crawford shot selection is much better when he plays PG. His best play last year was off the bench playing point.

tonight marbury, who really doesn't push tempo, played 44 mins, and isiah wonders why they beat us at smallball? smallball isn't likely to work in halfcourt sets, but isiah might not know that yet.

anyway, crawford is better on the ball when he needs to think of others. if he's greenlighted to shoot whenever he wants his selection is woeful.

Jamal's regressing and it's not pretty to watch.

He needs to be in an organized system where he runs the point. He takes better shots and makes good passes.

Now he's back to being a reckless gunner again.

Think he is a lone wolf?

Or is he following the coaches orders?

Nobody would want him at his price, but I would move Steve Francis for sure first. Crawford actually fits in an Isiah run and gun offense. Look at tonight.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

With the exception of a 3 week span last season, he's chucked up terrible off balance shots his whole career. It's not just under Isiah.
Jamal's shot selection might be a little less bad as a PG but the team would have no playmakers if he's the PG. You can't have a PG with a 1:1 assist:TO ratio on a winning team.

Exactly. He has not regressed, he has never played well for a long enough time to say that he reached some higher level.

JC scored so many points tonight, but he was destroying the Knick's offensive scheme during the 3rd. I don't think he played better than any of the other guards, except Q who had his worst game of the season. But Q was playing the right game, he was just missing.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

If you watch the game it does not even look like the other players even wanted to shoot. To tell you the truth if it is that bad then it is Isiah's fault for not putting Jamal in check. But the truth is Isiah must be encouraging Jamal to keep on shooting.

I definitely think he should have taken JC out. NR was out of control too. Sometimes you should go to the veterans. I liked what Francis was doing more than those other 2.

I did not observe that the other players were reluctant to shoot. It is hard to say that when they never had a chance to set anything up with JC jacking up his rucker shots!

I feel that Jamal was Jacking up shot, however I feel Isiah has to be supporting Jamal doing that unless Isiah would pull Jamal out quickly. Also I don't know what the hell Isiah has against Francis. There was no reason for Francis to benched in the second half. Right now I feel Francis runs the point better than any other player on this team.

I would have played Frye and Francis more, and definitely taken Crawford out.

I agree with your assessment of Francis. He is playing steadier than SM or JC.

Crawford takes the worst shots ever. How about instead of using his cross-over to jack up a fade-away; he drives to the bucket, once his man is off balance? It wouldnt kill ya Jamal

However, singling Jamal out when NONE of our guards even try keeping their man in front of them, is sickening. We're picked apart by the most average players. All of my fantasy teams are based on the same philosophy- start whoever is playing us, they're bound to have a career night. Totally sickening.

And for Curry to play like such a pansie with Patrick in the building was a fitting disgrace.

This makes you wonder what is going on with Isiah. Is Isiah telling Jamal to shoot as many times as possible because he does not have any faith in the other players. Or does Isiah see the rest of the team besides Nate not wanting to score? In any case I agree Jamal should have been pulled in the 3rd. Talked to by Isiah and then brought back into the game. However in the 4th I watched Marbury and others looking like they wanted to part in the offense. They just kept on giving Jamal the ball.

this is one of the aspects I liked about LB. He did it all the time.
