FRYE FOR WARRICK!!

Warrick is putting up numbers in his second year about equal to Frye as a rookie. Except Frye rebounded better is less time. Frye had better games than that as rookie.

Hakeem Warrick 2006:
30:06 4.4 8.7 50.8 0.0 0.0 0.0 4.1 7.0 59.2 2.4 3.3 5.7 1.4 2.1 0.3 0.3 2.7 13.0

Channing Frye 2005-2006
4.7 9.9 47.7 0.1 0.1 33.3 2.9 3.5 82.5 2.1 3.6 5.8 0.8 1.5 0.5 0.7 3.1 12.3

Awww yeah! I agree with Fish...almost. I don't think I would trade curry for Warrick, at least straight up.

We don't want Warrick and we certainly don't want Webber. Whoever started the thread about appreciating trades left on the table had a good point.

Warrick, an athletic guy who will play good defense and can already board and get some points and block shots now and then. Sounds good to me. I'd prefer to trade Curry for Warrick, but if you could trade Frye for him we'd have to make it a package.

Me too, but I wouldn't trade either. I still hold out hope for Curry. He may not turn out to be a monster, but if we can squeeze 16 and 8 out of him, and he could learn to play some average help defense, I'd be pleased, he'd be a very good and unique talent to have. He's already a unique talent.

I would trade frye and francis for Eddie jones, warrick and a 1stround pick. Frye is worth so much more then Warrick though, it isn't even funny.

How do you figure Warrick is not worth more than Frye? Warrick in his second year is putting up Frye Rookie numbers over about 8 games except he is taking more time to do it! And Frye just had a 5 game slump! So obviously Warrick a better player!

I only saw some warrick highlights from last night- but does he have any game outside of the assisted dunk?

Can he hit from 15-18?

Can he drive and beat his man?

He has SOME offensive skills, but think of Shawn Marion with a less consistent jump shot. It's not his scoring though. It's his energy, rebounding and potential for the defense that is impressive and that's what the Knicks need right now. That's why I'm willing to give up Curry. We can utilize Frye MUCH better without Curry.

Two problems with that. 1) Numbers don't work, 2) Isiah isn't GMing in Memphis yet.

hakim is worthy talent, but hakim is also playing on a team with a brown-like record. besides, if im a grizzwald fan no way do i trade one my most productive players for one that is not. dont get me wrong, knick players will excel as the season turns but right right now, zeke should not be trying to trade unless its for kg or someone like b-diddy
