the heat just did not look like a good team. Without shaq they don't seem to have another legit weapon at all besides wade, who as I said before is better creating for himself than for his teamates. Now wade will get to see what Kobe and Lebron see to some degree.. What it is like carrying a bunch of average Joes on your back....

Keys:

Knicks shoot over 50% and the heat shoot around 36%. The knicks looked faster, younger, quicker, more athletic, more skilled, stronger, I mean the knicks just looked better.

The bench came in and really took over the game, but the starters got the lead and that was key, but back to the bench, Lee came in and got 10 points and 6 boards in one quarter!!! Hell that is a game for most players in this leage some nights, Craw caught fire and marbs and francis were just beating miami off the dribble all night. when you take our guards and beat a unathletic team like miami off the dribble all night, you will get games like this.. I know people will say shaq was not there, which is true, shaq is a rock for that team, but the knicks just made miami work, wade had to work for every shot, mourning, haslem, all had to work extra hard, that just seemed to break the will of the heat, and when you have jamal stroking shots and nate penetrating along with marbs and francis, then that can be lights out..

Frye had a good game on the boards and hitting his first 3 shots set the tone, curry got better in the second half, but again it was all about david lee and the rest of the bench...

Big snacks looked decent in mop up time also..

Another key was Q. although he didn't shoot well, he hit a timely three to break the game open and he had 11 boards!!! Q is ballin..

balkman came in and was all over the place, what an athlete...

Again, a good TEAM effort, great bench work, not much more to say, the knicks just were clicking and miami struggled, but I think the knicks had a lot to do with that, I saw a good defensive effort tonight.. Guys like walker were just settling for bricking threes, in the lane guys were just flipping up shots, I was really impressed...

Also to be noted was the ball movement. I saw the knicks running the plays through, completing their cuts, executing, passing, it was fun to watch for a change. We also pushed the ball and miami just could not keep up.

DAreI say, that these guys may be getting it?

4-6

Go knicks!

Yeah this was definitly an inspiring win. Good job by Isiah and lots of commraderie on the court. I don't know what the haters will hate about tomorrow but they will find something and twist it.

I like your sig , if you don't mind I'm going to use it too.

This was a solid win. When you play a team that is going thru some issues, you STOMP ON THEM and take away their confidence and will to fight. For a change we did the STOMPING.

Isiah has stressed team play and that's what we've been seeing. It's not a conicidence it's the PLAN. I know that there will still be haters out there trying to find ways to throw water on this, but it's a good win. This doesn't mean we're suddenly done growing and improving, it's just a solid effort that got rewarded with a win. Hopefully we can do the same tomorrow.

Frye had a good first quarter, Lee had a good second quarter, Curry had a good 3rd quarter, and Jerome had a good 4th quarter.

last two games saw around 8 players getting 20-30 mins, and 2 more getting high teens.

reminiscent of hubie's first full season with memphis when they used a 10 man rotation where everybody got 20 mins or so.

outside of a 3-5 minute period in the 2nd quarter, this was total domination from start to finish. unreal.

wade is going to get p ssed pretty soon. with shaq out, wade was gonna play 48 mins if it wasn't for the fouls.

I'm so pissed I missed this game! I was stuck going to a dinner, of course it has to be on the same night the Knicks blow out the Miami Heat! It looks from the boxscore that the bench played some serious minutes, were the starters that bad again? GREAT win for the Knicks. Man these bench guys got me so excited now. I've had my current signature since the beginning of last offseason and now I finally got some of these guys!

Lee/Nate/Q/Balk/Jamal

Things are starting to get interesting!

No, the starters played well. Isiah wanted to keep them fresh for tonight's game.
