Paul Harris 6'4 225lbs at Syracuse from Niagara Falls NY will one day be a dominate force.

The kid plays F at the cuse and is avg a double double already and not even a starter.

Scouts are already drooling at his take charge attitude and leadership qualities on the court ...even at the highschool all-star games the kid just wants to win.

If he ever develops his jumper(wade didn't have one either in college) he will be unstoppable, not quite like dywane wade but similar.

He's just Ok compared to the incredible talent that has taken over CBB this year. The newest SI said that the next draft would have the most talent of any draft in the history of the NBA--that this was the best freshmen class of all time etc...

Well you just watch and see, he will make you a believer I seen this kid play live saw him grow up to be a heckuva ball player.

Niagara Falls won the Class AA state and federation titles, finishing the year with a 28-1 record and a No. 3 ranking in USA Today's prep poll.

Harris, who averaged 19.7 points, 12.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists, has the physique of a football player with broad shoulders and a thick chest. Yet it's his ball-handling and improved shooting he hit 41 percent of his 3-pointers last season that have made him one of the nation's top recruits.

Harris, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound guard, graded out as the No. 4 player at the prestigious Reebok ABCD camp in Teaneck, N.J., last week. His two finalists were SU and Pittsburgh.

"He's like a nuclear weapon. You're not sure what he'll do or how he'll get it done, but you don't want anyone else to have him," said Dave Telep, recruiting analyst for scout.com. "He's one of the hardest guys I've seen to guard. His physicality and athleticism make him such a hard guy to guard."

A 6'4 guy who dribbles and gets to the hole like dywane wade isn't considered a PF.

I hope you have seen him play more than once!

Who said he was wade, I said dribble to the rack like wade.

How well did wade shoot as a freshman ??

I didn't think you seen him play more than once.

I'm suprised you still hold the kids past against him, I guess it's that upstate bias.

This is one of the few you missed Briggs, this is a 6"4 wing man with hops. His defense is 2nd to none at 6"4 in the college game.

I know he's a physical tough player, but to me he is nothing more than a smaller-less skilled version of q-rich at depaul who can't shoot beyond 10 feet. What the Knicks need to START with is a player in the middle who can be a deterrant in the lane and a physical point guard who can defend and run a team. Almost like they say be strong up the middle in baseball--the Knicks need to concentrate on being strong up the middle--meaning a player who can clog the lane block/alter shots and a PG who can pressure the ball at every angle and run the team on the other side. This whole thing that we are going to run and up anmd down and score 140 points a game? has that evolved? not even phoenix who have been very good at it has been able to execute anything like that this year--teams scoring 140 no--115 tops.
I named some guys who I thought would drop to the middle of the first round the other day--a place where i thought wed be drafting--and likely still are. But I think we may have to *find a way* to get up there for a player like Al Horford.

Nobody said the knicks should go after Paul, why would you even mention that.

The knicks need a superstar bigman.

You never can tell what this kid is gonna do before he leaves college.

His work ethic is wayyyyyyy to good.

His ypper body strength came from doing pushups, he didn't start lifting until he went to prepschool and syracuse.

His leadership qualities are beyound his yrs , this kid is a can't miss stud!

I'm just giving you a heads up on this kid game

he looks big and strong. Is he quick enough to defend on the perimeter? Also, how is his midrange game?

Paul just shut down this SG from Charlotte who was previously averaging 25.5 points, only had 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting -- 1-for-8 in the second half trying to score against the muscular Harris.

"Harris did a good job on him, Charlotte coach" Lutz said. "He missed three wide-open shots in the second half,You can say that was an after-effect, but I don't think so. I think he just missed them."

Yea Paul got up in his grill and had him scared like he did guys in highschool.

I'm going to watch him(syracuse) play live at HSBC Arena against Canisius on Saturday.

His midrange game has not been defined yet but he gets to the rack and gets fouled alot avg 7 trips to the ft a game. Paul has a nasty cross (usually how he gets fouled)
.
