We're playing a Miami squad that (despite being the Champs) look very vulnerable and pretty much puts it in cruise control during the regular season. After that, the Celtics at home.

If we're going to make this work and get to the playoffs and have a winning record, we have to start stringing victories together and not winning every once in a while. We have to somehow bottle up what we did in the Wiz game and sustain that for the rest of the season. The Bulls showed Miami's age on opening day and we do have the ability to wear them down, out-histle them and beat them. If the Bobcats can beat the Spurs on their turf, we can beat Miami on theirs. The Celtics at home is a game we're supposed to win anyway.

I like 5-6 a whole lot more than 3-8 and 4-7, so let's get the job done here.

Right now with the Knicks it's about what this team does. If they play their game they'll have a chance to win any game. I hope we'll come out with the same intensity against Miami and take it to them. The Heat aren't in midseason form yet and that's good for us.

The thing is that we're as deep as any team in the league and when the starters do their job we bring an even more intense unit off the bench. We should always be able to play hard and long against teams for 48 minutes with this team. If we do I like our chances.

remind me again what "our game" is. Seriously, I'm not being a dick (change of pace) just honest curiousity.

Well you've been watching the games? The idea is to be efficient and aggressive on offense. There's supposed to be good motion and passing and last night was a good example of the team sharing the ball and playing smart. We had 23 assists, which were spread across the team and that's a good indication of the team paying the right way. Everyone is involved in sharing the ball and it makes harder for teams to stop what we're doing.

There should be a fairly even distribution of points as well. It's a TEAM game now. No longer just a couple of guys scoring most of the points. Hustle and energy is another aspect of what we do. With the roster we have, there should always be a high level of energy, cuz we are so deep no one should get too low on energy. The minutes should be fairly evenly distributed. Again last night was a perfect example of that. If you go back and look at how Isiah described what this team should look like those are the things. I've been saying the same things for a while and it's good to see the team doing it in a regular season game.

that is what i am thinking also. a decent advantage. however, last year, wade and mourning were the thorns in our side when we played miami so they can still stomp us.

No, I'm just a Knicks fan looking to breathe in some fresh oxygen-filled W's.

Losing to the Celtics will not be acceptable.

well, 2 game winning streaks are a start i guess.

at least they made those 2 wins very pleasurable to watch.
