When Al Trautwig said that it was a bad play for Crawford to throw an alley oop for Nate Robinson (Which I agree with) GJ was like "You NYers are so pessimitic all the time." Man, I love Gus with the rest of them, but he's been wearing those rose colored glasses. You notice that he's so much better when he's on ESPN radio and not MSG TV.

Gus is a massive homer, no doubt, but he's fun to listen to when things are going well.

I bet he had to change his pants after that Crawford shot in Denver. ;)

I think it's more like he loves all good bball plays though. He gets mad excited when players on either team does well, and this goes for college, and that's what makes him a real good broadcaster. I just don't like that statement above. He does criticize the Knicks over the radio though, I have noticed that.

I like gus and i agree with him right there... it was not a bad play... it was a wide open allyoop.. If Nate makes that... its a huge momentum builder.. It wasent a bad play, The ball just slipped... He shoulda had that.. There were other plays they could have pointed out

Gus Johnson is a sycophant.

Which makes him the perfect MSG employee.

Gus Johnson is a Knicks fan.

He would have said the same had he not been paid a dime.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I agree with that and I agree with what Gus said.

Gus and Al must be either good friends off camera or worst enemies.

I saw them on msg, ny before and Al gave Gus a monster shove more like a shoulder block. It was kinda playfull but the again it kinda wasn't.

I think we need to pay attention to this as it develops.
