wasent it

Nate-Marbury-Lee-Davis-Curry ???

well how about

Nate-Marbury-Q-Lee-Curry(or Frye) ??

I know this is a bit redundant but people (including myself) focus on Lee being in the starting 5 maybe Nate is equally important?

Nate is a solid player who makes things happen. He plays better defense (most of the time) than Francis and can consistently hit a jumper. I would not be opposed to starting Nate over Francis, but it will never happen.

I'm impressed with Nate and most of all his shot selection. He really is a diverse scorer. Doesnt rely too much on the jumper or drives. He really mixes up attacking the glass with mid range pull up jumpers, those floaters and some spot up 3's. Best of all? He's the ONLY Knick that follows his shot. Many time's he gets his own miss. He's making a fan of me.

Nate is calming down a bit. HE does not have to prove himself this year that he can hang.

I loved that he tried a Ally oop. Im not sure Isiah did. And larry is spinning in his bed on that one.

But I doubt he is watching.

The Kurt Thomas trade is turning out to be one of Isaiah's better achievements.

Because even though NR is under control, he is freelancing and is generally a wildcard type player. Not allowed with the LB-meister!

Anyway, NR would have been "deleted" if LB were here.

Oh yeah, and he expresses enthusiasm, also strongly discouraged by the LB-enheimer!

The Six game streak last year was only a blip cuz Steph got hurt. Also understand that
the Coach never intended for the team to do that well. They weren't playing his slow down style. They were playing much like they are now. Guys playing fast and with energy. Attacking the rim on a regular basis. The players even mentioned that he didn't seem happy. He had lost control of the team during that stretch, but they were playing well despite him. As soon as Steph was down for sure, he went away from the group that had played so well. He never went back to that lineup either. He never used that style of play as a blueprint for what this team could do and make the adjustment to go in that direction. Even tho Lee isn't starting, we still have him playing more minutes than he did last year, so the effect is the same. He's averaging 24 mpg, but his minutes have been increasing as the season has gone along. Right now the way Isiah's been playing it recently between C and PF spot he's splitting time with Curry, Frye and Lee. As they all improve that will likely be the rotation. There will be plenty of minutes to go around. Guys like Cato and James will find very few minutes.

He never passes the ball. He is still trying to be a highlight film with no traces of a PG anywhere to be found.

no questioning that. PG skills are hard to learn for a SG. He has taken a step in the right direction by not taking wild shots and not getting blocked all the time and not trying to dunk all the time.
