Sorry Isiah, you won't get the chance to coach the guy known as Jordan by some on this board.

I hope no, but my instinct says yes. I don't see Dolan giving Isiah less than one season, but hope I'm wrong.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

December is an important month as that is when Isiah's contract runs out. Dolan can simply choose not to renew the contract rather than "firing" him.

Glen Grunwald becomes the GM and Herb returns as head coach.

Hopefully Marbury and Francis are dumped.

Are you sure about that or is that just a myth? I never ever heard of a sports contract ending in the middle of the season.

Hopefully it's interim GM, but either that, or Steve Mills. I agree about Herb though and then I'm sure the fans will be calling to fire his ars as well.

It seems Herb has left a lasting impression on some on this board. He wasn't very good at coaching people forget that. Besides a better coach is waiting in the wings and I think he was a former Knicks, Adelman.

I'll venture a guess and say that there's no way Isiah gets fired during the year.

Zeke has been pumping up dolan this long, no need to strip any stripes off his arm before his "major difference maker"plays a reg season game.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I'm not sure about it. It might be a myth. he signed in December 2003. I tried to google it but came up empty handed, so I don't know when his contract expires. It could be that he has been named Knicks GM in perpetuity.

Is there an actual quote made by someone here of such a statement? Just curious.

No there isn't but the with the way people talk about how things are going to be SO different when Jeffries comes back, you would think Jeffries was Michael Jordan. Trust me, there was no person on this board who wanted Jeffries more than me, I was petitioning for Isiah to get him since summer '05 but he's not going to change this team. He's a nice defensive and hustle piece to the puzzle but this idea that things will be ok once Jared comes back is ridiculous.
