NO! Even if chaney someone gets the knicks into the 8th seed... there is no way in hell that they are gona go far in the playoffs. Why risk it? From dice's view, he has a player option for $12+ million, he's finacially secure for next season, why risk another injury and miss all next year so he can get lowballed on the market? Take the rest of the year off... get healthy.

hes not going to play; its just the media toying around with us. Even if he was ready & somehow we made the playoffs, he would be advised by management and teammates not to comeback until next season.

I doubt he'll come back. He is going to give himself lots of time to get back healthy, ensuring the Knicks get a nice lottery-pick and then start fresh next year.

I disagree. If Antonio McDyess can play this season, he should. Regardless if our season is over. Sitting him down the remainder of this season because of fear of re-injury is dumb. Dyess will ALWAYS be at risk for injury with those knees. Whenever Dyess feels ready, he should play. Like he said himself, even if it's for his own confidence that he can still play.

While I dont agree that he should play, I dont think there is anything wrong with giving him 10-15 minutes per game at the end of the season. Just to get him on the court a little but not enough to impact the result of the game. By then we will be well on our way to the lottery and dropping games will be in the teams best interest. Imagine getting a top 5 even a 1-2 pick in this draft. Next year the team would hopefully have a healthy Dyess, Houston, Spree, Vujonic??? and possibly Lebron or one of the Euro stars. That to me is a pretty formidable lineup. Even if we dont win Lebron, getting a solid european big man is the next best thing - it will ass some polish to the team, we will hopefully have a better point guard, and the big three core will come together nicely. I would rather see him sit and get healthy, and I dont want him winning us any games this season because the reality of the situation is that just will not help this team get any better.

no way he should play. it would be one thing if we had a leit shot at doing anything, but at this point it will be a miracle if we make the playoffs as an 8 seed. and if we do, we aint going very far....

sit out and get healthy, in the meantime, i am praying for lebron
