Amazing how many commercials for DVD instructional videos.

Better basketball.com, Magic Johnsons series, and even Steve Nash got one. No prices, but im sure they are not cheap. Nor are the commercials.

My son and I were watching all the instructions and tidbits they showed and it really bought back memories of basketball camp for me.

My son then said howcome the knicks are not doing any of that?

I had no answer other than they lack strong fundamentals.

I tried to tell him that the gazzionaire player with a big contract and incredible athletic ability is not interested in fundamentals. Perhaps this is why Marbury is deteriorating before our eyes.

We talked about H20 and how he was so fundamentally strong. And how some point guards, like nash do so many little things so well that it looks easy at times.

Then Nate dribbles frantically, loses the ball and lands on his belly while the game slips away. He asked about the fundamentals of that play.

I said it was "special"!

Maybe Dolan can spring for those DVDs.

Last year the team was more fundamentally oriented. You could see it come together at times. Our runs now are frantic athletic surges which are fun, but unsustaining.
