I'd feel a lot better about Frye's performance tonight if it wasn't so blatant that they were doing everything they could at the start to get him going. You really think they're going to do that every game? With Curry, Starbury, Francis and Q on the floor with him, I doubt it. He has to start getting it done within the flow of the offense.

It was nice to see him exert some effort on defense and on the boards. But that begs the question, why can't he do that every night?

Why not try to get a player who is struggling going? I like the way the offense looks a lot better featuring Frye rather than Curry.

I'm not saying that there's something wrong with trying to get a struggling player going. But they aren't going to be doing that every game. They've invested too much in Curry to defer to Frye.

Frye has to start getting his without everybody trying to get him going. And he has to do it on a consistent basis.

I don't think he needs to be "gotten going" if he is playing as he is capable, so much as be set up so he can play his game successfully. Most tall players need to be set up. Of course he has to play better consistently, but it was nice to see him hit the broad side of a barn tonight. his whole body language looked better. Let's see if he can keep it up.

he hit a couple jumpers early... no real big deal. I thought his best play was when Curry was out of the game. It would be nice if he's our starting center next year (Frye that is)

It's encouraging. We'll see how the next few games look.

Naaah, he's not center material. I envision him more as a PG.

When everyone has been calling for Frye to sit, I rather see Curry off the bench- partly so he doesn't get 2 quick fouls in the first quarter.

I don't figure its a bad deal to have a $10mm back up center when your other back up is getting $5mm and hasn't played.

I also don't think that having broken Ferrari is a bad thing if your Lamborghini is even never went from garage after the crash last year

Listen Frye is very limited we all know that, but thats what Isiah should have been doing two games ago, getting him the shots that make him effective, thats why isiah is a poor coach he doesn't make the adjustments, its very clear

why is Frye shooting 3pointers? Take a step or 2 in and find your range already.

and a lot of his jump shots are jsut inside the 3 pt line.

i think it would really help his shooting if he jsut set up or rolled a few feet closer in. he may be taking most of his shots just beyond his automatic range.

I don't see IT getting mad, and he is taking them in the flow for the most part. I think he is probably making them in practice, he just needs to get the lid off of the basket.

I don't want Frye taking ANY 3 pointers. I don't know if it's b/c of him being soft or if Isiah is forbidding Frye to go in the Post (I doubt it) but he took his first free throws of the season last night and that is inexcusable. He cannot be living off these long jump shots. His home needs to be 13 feet and in. When he was playing best last season, he was in that area and magically, his jumpshot was money.

Heck, I want to see him in there, even if he's doing bad in there. I remember the game in Phoenix last season when he was playing like crap, but I was so proud of him b/c he stayed super aggresive and was persistent in the post against the tough defense of Shawn Marion and Kurt Thomas. I believe he had a real good game the next game. Isiah should have been directing those "Be a Man" comments to Frye just as much.

I thought he looked great but I'm still concerned that its almost all jump shots and it took him putting up like 18 shots to score 17 points
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Great in terms of agtresiveness not great in terms of overall shot selection or defense. Gooden was destroying him on the glass for a while.

Put me in a jersey and I can be agressive. Overall he has sucked.
