It just reminds me of Dolan's BS from a couple weeks ago. As a fan, I could care less if managament cooks and eats each other's children. I don't care if a bunch of overpaid suits get along or not. I care about W's. Winning is all that counts. Screw Dolan.

Also, NY Times has a nice little profile on the Blazers and their recurring character issues. It bears noting that people slagged Mark Cuban a few years ago for being too visible and too much of a fan, but who's laughing now?

I think it's too easy to blame all the teams problems on Chaney. I think Van Gundy left because he could see the writing on the wall. How much better would the team really be had Van Gundy stayed? The coach has to work with the players he has. Personally, I'd like to see Chaney succeed.

while chaney did inherit a very tough situation, all of the 4th quarter blown leads and poor decesion making down the stretch is a direct reflection of very bad coaching. he has had a chance, and thus far he has blown it, bottom line. 36-56 (give or take a few games) is not getting it done. coaches and gm's should be judged by results. wins and losses are the bottom line, not personality of if they can kiss the owners ass. as much as chaney deserves to go, i blame all of this on jim "napoleon disease" dolan. he is 4'6 moron who's only accomplishment is being a member of the lucky sperm club. but daddy can't get you out of this mess jimmy boy! sell the team now!
