Props to Don Chaney for keeping Howard Eisley in the starting lineup over Charlie Ward. Eisley is much more productive and better as a starter than a backup. The more he keeps starting and playing, the better he gets. He's got solid playmaking skills in the halfcourt offense and his shooting is improving.

I did not see the game can anyone tell me why Postell did not play tonight??

Charles Barkley said it a few seasons ago on TNT. You can only get good in this league if you get minutes. Guys who don't get minutes have to play crazy in practice to prove they belong in games.

Obviously, Postell stinks in practice, just like he did when he got minutes last year, except for that one game where he had to put his money where his mouth is.

It's easier said than done, but guys like Nailon and Postell should forget about shooting the ball and work 100 per cent on defense. You can be the worst shooter on the team, but if you're a great defender, you'll get minutes. Even score-meisters like Glenn Robinson can defend a little bit. Heck, as weak a defender as Houston is, you realize how much worse guys like Nailon are when they're on the floor. What's it matter if you score 120 points if the other team scores 140?
