Malik Rose Has Had Enough Of Losing
12th November, 2006 - 6:34 am
New York Post -

While Isiah Thomas was content with the 1-2 road trip through Denver and Texas, Malik Rose was not.

Rose, the former Spurs' champion who received a big ovation when he entered last night's 100-92 loss, doesn't think 1-2 on the road - or 2-5 for the season - is anything to be smiling about.

"It's not good, we went 1-2 on a three-game road trip," Rose said. "[Isiah] gets paid to make that decision. I support him on it, but I'm sure he would have preferred to go 3-0. I'm just tired of losing."

Thomas was fine with the 1-2 trip after beating Denver, then losing relatively competitive games in Houston and San Antonio.

"You get a win on the road, it's great, especially against the caliber of teams we're playing against," Thomas said. "We were in every basketball game. [The Spurs were] 20 points better than we were Monday. Tonight it's eight. We're getting better."

i agree with Malik.

Also Malik is one who came from a structured winning organization in San Antonio to an unstable disorganized losing franchise like the knicks

1 & 2 road trip & Isiah's satisfied... pretty much a reflection on what's been at the core of the problem surrounding the Knicks for the past several years... when is below average ever not going to be good enough?
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I don't think he's satisfied- just spin and trying to keep his players from falling into an abyss.

As a fan if this team falls into an abyss(again!) I want it to happen sooner than later so it can be exposed. IF we have to fight so hard to keep players from quitting/giving up shouldn't that be telling us something?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I just hope that people will like me

I found that if you have a goal you might not reach it. But if you don't have one, then you're never disappointed. And I got to tell ya', it feels phenomenal-Vince Vaughn.

Tell malik to get the knicks to start playing from minute 1 so we are not down 14 at the first TV break every game. Being down all the time kind of makes fans a tad bit restless! Give the fans something to cheer about!
