Some one in another post brought this up. I have to agree with them, the new motion offense is quite weak. They spend way too much time trying to get Curry off to a good start. Curry fails because he forces the issue and the team goes down by 10. all of a sudden, they lose faith in curry (good reason too) and they start going into freestyle more, shooting careless jumpers, Frye is definately forcing the issue, taking 3s and fouling out.

So that being said, how would you modify this new "offense" here is what i think.

We should use the quickness of the guards to attack the basket early. they are more successful and this than anything else, then in between post curry here and there.
Play small ball if you have too.

Hm...
Streetball is stretball. You cannot modify it too much.
It is cool to watch but it doesn't help to win in NBA.

I agree with this.

edit: with michael.

I think we need to attack the basket early and get opposing teams in foul trouble. estasblishing Curry early has been a trainwreck.

Hmmmm...focus on the guards scoring, use the bigs down low for defense and rebounding....hmmm...sounds like a real good plan.

I think we have motion defense - when our gs see the opposing player they are running hard from him to make him open...
He will shoot the ball and it is a big chanse that he will miss. Then we can pick it up and run the fast break.
IT is a genius...

I think we need to bring back the pick and roll. I think this would help Frye. Curry might be able to establish himself off the drive and dish by out point guards. I also think we would benefit from a true pass first point guard that would allow all our point guards who should play off the ball to do just that.

so far i haven't seen much motion in this motion offense... alot of 1 on 1 & freelancing & bad rotations on defense... mine as well it the Rucker Park offense instead.

It's fascinating that noone on this board could see that we would struggle with the motion offense and fall back on 1 on 1 play. I am shocked by this turn of events.
I just hope that people will like me
