i would pick boozer,
they are never the same after microfracture.

fortunate for amare, he is still young and can recover much quicker. also he plays with steve nash, he will make anyone look better than they are.

25, 14, 2 blks, 1 steal, 10/14 FG.'s against Memphis - W (duh, its MEMPHIS!)

I was half-kidding. I really do hope Amare is healthy. it's good for the game. makes the West far more interesting.

but, this is kind of like overreacting to Bynum getting 20pts against Mark Blount the other night - sometimes you need to look at the competition a little. Curry had what 17pts and 14rebs against Memphis? they have no bigs.

Understood. But he has had pretty good games against fairly good teams. The fact that he is able to perform at even a semi high level as he has is actually pretty amazing. I saw the highlights of his first game back and he had a pretty sick dunk.

I think getting excited about a few big games from Amare is kind of like getting excited about when Glen Rice used to put up a few big games on plantar fasciitis. Or more appropriately, getting excited about Allan Houston putting up a few big games right before his knee inevitably began flaring up again.

I don't think Suns management is or has been giving him proper time to heal up the knee and I wouldn't be shocked to see some more setbacks down the road.

Or getting excited when Jamal's brain injury goes away and for a few games he has decent shot selection!
