Does anyone here REALLY want IT to make opne more call here--hes just a great manipulating POS---look at his record post playing days ????? I dont dislike IT, I just want him to do a Rumsfeld and admit it like a man and take a fall

Well apparently it wasn't the coach because we changed that and we are still playing the same...

Yeah losing to the best team in the league IS concerning. Not to mention it was on the road on the 2nd day of a back to back.

Bring back LB! Then we would've won against the Spurs! Right?!

have you been watching this team this season?

outside of crackhead jamal in denver or miller/warrick missing FT's, we're 0-7.

Probably not. But we could have beaten Indy and Houston along with the two wins we already have.

I think LB has a clue and I am not so sure about Thomas. I think the best thing to happen is that he has to coach the misfitted group of players he gathered to be a team. It is interesting that he drafted Balkman, Collins, signed Jeffries and let jalen go. Those are all LB moves. He has tried to compensate for his AND One point guard duo that he acquired but it does not appear to be working. As GM Thomas enjoyed the freedom of Dolan's money and acquired alot of talented pieces. However, the pieces never fit as a team and he is finally being put in a position where his lack of vision is directly effecting him. Thomas's one area of strength after his playing career has been his ability to evaluate talent. In my opinion he made a huge mistake taking Balkman over Marcus Williams. I truly believe that Thomas thought there was no way Williams would be there and that he would wow the world again by selecting Balkman. I think that he was so focused in on showing what a draft guru he is that he chose Balkman anyway. I like Balkman but Williams could contend for rookie of the year and is the type of talent that you could build your team around. Thomas's biggest mistake with LB was listening to his rants and trading and acquiring players to satisfy LB's flavor of the month flight of fancy. If Isiah had a vision for the team he could have rejected LB and stayed on course. However, Isiah thought that LB would fix or make things work so he went with what he said. Anytime LB has had success he has had strong gms who make personnel moves based on what is right for their vision of the team.

We've lost to good teams and we've won against bad teams. What more can you ask for this season?

Also, I really don't see how LB could win against Houston/Indy and Isiah wouldn't have. I dunno if you guys remember this number.. 23?

82 * 2/7 ~= 23 games. We're on pace to have the same rec as last year having already played the Spurs twice. So far, I don't see a difference between Isiah and Larry in terms of results. At least there's no more b!tching.

Ok so we won with jamal, and miller warrick missed free throws, is that our fault. so we got 2 wins, almost came back to beat the spurs, and were in most of the games at the end. Oh yeah against against great teams with their all stars having all star performances. The fact that we are not 0-7 is a positive.
why is it every game that we win, its because the other team did not do something. I'm sure with the next win we get, it will be because someone on the opposite team had an off game.
The losses to all these great teams do not bother me, lets see how we play against non championship squads. if we keep losing to them, then we have serious issues.

It would have been interesting to see the reactions here if Larry passed over Williams for Collins.

having Larry as a GM would be the worst thing possible. he would be the worst GM in the history of the game.

Larry fked up. Marcus isn't a star yet: roughly 7 ppg with more TO's then assists? In 20 min? C'mon. Plus it would've been real nice having 6 guards on the team (EDIT:) who need the ball to contribute (because Mardy doesn't). Anyway, lets not get into to doomsday mood after a couple of losses versus STRONG teams.

There is a major difference. Larry seemed to have a plan that he ran for 17 years in coaching that worked everywhere he went. Isiah so far has somehow gotten Jamal and Frye to regress, made it ok to not play defense, changed his offensive philosophy at least twice, and made our players out to look like a bunch of pansies.

marcus plays no defense.

balkman is a talent on the defensive end. MUCH rarer.

larry had a plan, he just kept it to himself and joe glass.

42 lineups says it all, not much of plan
in his 17 years, he never did that.

Marcus backs up Jason Kidd but was one of the best rookies in the summer leagues and in the preseason. He is a lottery talent who slipped all the way down to where the Knicks picked. My doomsday mentality is not based on the early season results, it is based on Isiah and his track record to this point. I don't know what he has to do to get fired. He has thrown away millions, assembled a lottery talent team but gave those picks away, and he is accused of sexually harassing an employee who has substantial credibility. In regards to that suit the agency that investigated and found it worthy of pursuing prosecution only does in 7% of the cases that it is presented with. At this point I am waiting for Isiah to create a miracle or Dolan to hold true to his word at the end of the year.
