I have never seen a player get more dominated than Eddy Curry did last night.

Never.

Yao Ming, one of the more passive guys in the league - Absolutely MOLESTED Eddy every trip down the court.

Curry gave up in the first 2 Minutes of the game, and i mean totally GAVE UP

Did you see the play where yao spinned around him in the first quarter at like 5 mph and curry literally stepped AWAY as if to say "**** it". I saw plays like this from Curry all night, Absolutely disgusting.

Heres the kicker tho, If im coaching this team... and i want to win... And i see that Yao is SO COMFORTABLE playing against curry ( I mean you could tell Yao KNEW that curry gave up and he was taking his TIME on him cuz he knew there was zero resistence.. it was not the skill that was overwhelming him it was confidence vs. no effort) I would have taken Curry OUT of that game. Someone do a statistic of Yaos points against curry and against everyone else.... Curry was in there WAY too long.

After Alston hit that huge 3, we still barely had a chance... but then Isiah put Curry back in who haddent played in forever... You could see Yao licking his chops, Balkman had been giving him HELL (a 6-8 man with toothpick arms giving Yao all he could handle... U still think this was about Yaos skill????) Yao knew he could score as soon as Curry came back in... what did he do... took his godamn time, and scored easily.

Also, I noticed during that 4th quarter comeback when we were bustin our ass on D... Nate really does not run out on shooters HARD enough... you know hes fast as lightning... but on rotations and getting to open shooters, he runs at like 3 quarter speed and sometimes doesent even jump.. watch the rotation on that big Alston 3.. Very bad by Nate.. I love him.. but he needs to work on that..

Basically - I was very pleased with our team last night honestly, I thought we played one of our better effort/continueity games of the year. (only like 8 turnovers). The main problem honestly was Eddy Curry, Everytime he was on the court he was abused - But when he was out, our team had a fighting chance. God i'd like to see a + - stat with curry on and off the floor last night. Horrible. Isiah, take this man out if he doesent want to be out there!!!

Yao Ming might seem passive but he has been great this season and last season he started becoming dominant. He is a true Franchise player. He's going to do this to more guys. However, I do think that Curry should have done at least a little better against him.

There may have been some things that IT could have dne better, but the fact is that Curry--and everybody else (Except the Balk-man) can't handle Ming.

Yao is very skilled... But Curry ALLOWED him to do whatever he wanted... Yao diddnt take it last night, curry gave it to him

When Yao at 7 foot 6 is on his game I dont see anybody stopping him. How can you? He doesnt even have to jump to put the ball in. Its like playing with one of those nerf hoops at home. This wasnt even his season high in points. He is going to have a monster year. I think he moves in to the top 10 players for sure this year. Maybe top 5.
Curry giving up 7-8 inchs looked like a Dwarf against him. Its like Jcraw to be able to guard Garnnet.

why did balkman do a better job on yao than curry?

Yao was a bit tired and Balkman used his speed while Curry doesnt have that speed. Curry cnat guard Yao. Balkman cant guard yao. Kt couldnt guard Yao. Very few people can guard Yao. Look at Yaos other games. Who is shutting Yao down? Yao is the 8th wonder of the world. The NBA never has had a 7 foot 6 inch guy that actually has great skills. When yao is fresh and on his game thats that. Mark him down for 25-30 a night when he is rolling

Not any more. Have you watched him play at all over the last couple years? He's no Oakley but he's hardly passive. For a while I confused his general awareness of what's happening on the court for a kinda of passivity--he sometimes seems to ignore the guy in his face but he's thinking a step or two ahead and planning some clever move to get the ball to McGrady or whatever. It's efficiency, not passivity. IMO. Regardless, he's become one of the more interesting players in the last couple years and, yeah, he's a freaking franchise.

That's why I'm so passionate about getting zach Randolph cuz at least he will drop 20/10 qalking in the gym. A guy like that you are trying to hold him to his averages.
