The reality of our situation is that right now we can't run our offense THRU Currry and Frye. We have to have them be secondary options to our guards. They are our best players right now. When we try to feature Curry and Frye it slows down the offense to a dead stop and we just fall behind. These 2 are much better when the focus isn't on them directly. They will be better when they can get easy baskets off our guard penetration and pick and roll plays. Once Curry went out all of a sudden you saw motion and passing and some more fluid basketball. I'm not saying to totally go away from him, but to limit the amount of early pure post ups. Let him get into the flow off of some easy catch and stuff type plays.
As for the good from the game:
1. Isiah actually did a good job with his use of the bench.
2. We have some defensive players who when mixed in with the starters give us a much better presence. The overall defensive effort was good. Except for Curry and Frye

3. Steph seems to be coming on, but not forcing it. He's letting the game come to him.
4. Lee and Balkman are a very good tandem for D.
5. Still in games at the end despite our offense being totally out of synch and our frontcourt not giving us much.
I get the feeling that this team is gonna be good once we put it all together and get healthy. This team shows signs of what it can be once we learn to harness the strengths we have. Isiah is learning something new about this team with every game and that will be valuable down the line.
