Eddy Curry Line Update The Eddy Curry Line was established to put a spotlight on how truly anemic Curry's overall fantasy line is. The standard: a player must average more turnovers than assists, steals, and blocks combined – in order to qualify, a player must have appeared in at least half of his team's games and averaged at least 20 minutes of playing time.
Kenyon Martin is the early leader, thanks to just one assist, no steals or blocks, and five turnovers (0.2:1). His knee surgery means he will soon lose eligibility, however.
Matt Harpring has been struggling in the early going, although he typically finishes well above the Curry Line – he's dished two assists, had two steals, and no blocks, while turning the ball over 12 times (0.33:1).
Erick Dampier must be struggling to hold on to the new basketball, because he's got one assist, one steal, and four blocks, but 15 turnovers (0.4:1).
Curry himself has started the season in fine fashion – he's got three assists, one steal, three blocks, and 17 turnovers (0.41:1).
Jamaal Magloire, Shaquille O'Neal, Mark Blount, Corey Maggette, Wally Szczerbiak, Nenad Krstic, Damien Wilkins, Jason Collins, Desmond Mason, and Jameer Nelson round out the early-season Curry Line offenders.
