Isn't it strange that more a contract (in length and size) our players have less effort they show?

The long and big money contracts are good for players and couches, but are the good for basketball?
Isn't it better to have 1, max 2 years contracts to keep players motivated all the time?
Why other people in US can be fired any time when they not perform but bbal players and couches will get their money regardless?

Jamal is signed to the longest term of any contract we have, & yet he gives an effort most every game whether his shot is falling or not.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I havent seen effort as a problem.

Jamal’s contract is reasonable money vise
Some players are not only cares about the money - they have proud and passion.
This we call franchise players...
These long contracts are profitable. But this is a moral backslash.
I believe A20 will prefer to have smaller contract to avoid all the bashing after what happened with his health.

The league is too much money and business and less and less basketball and this is sad.

ps Jamal can be very lackadazical(spelling?) when hes out there and his shot isnt falling... I question his effort often ... but whatever.. i guess not EVERYONE can be a David Lee/Balkman player

the only guys on this team that give a full effort 100% of the time they're on the floor are David Lee & Nate... even Balkman can look a little bit hesitant at times i've noticed, but Lee & Nate play w/wreckless abandon all the time... doesn't mean that Crawford's effort has been shoddy though.
