he mentioned Jamal very quickly in passing, saying he didn't like the fact that Jamal made that boneheaded pass during the biggest spot in the game to create that situation in the first place, & that he was lucky Najera decided to try & pass the ball upcourt while he was in the air rather than simply dribbling upcourt himself

i think SAS's off on this cuz the game was tied at that point & w/only 5 seconds left or so, Najera isn't the guy you want to be handling the ball upcourt... besides, Jamal was running up to try & steal the ball away from Najera anyway, so he had to get rid of the ball or call a Timeout in that situation... don't know if they had any Timeouts left offhand, but that would probably have been the more prudent move in that situation.

he didn't mention Frye.

Najera had a wide open Carmello for a 2 on 1 situation with JR against Marb. He did the right thing, Crawford just made a good play (after his bad one)

they had no timeouts left.. it wasent a bad play by Edwardo.. It was an amazing play by Jamal to recover.

But it was a horrible pass by Jamal and actually not a great shot lol but he made it so i wont complain.. Imagine if he missed tho? Lord.. how bad would that shot have looked

jamal should never have tried that pass. call timeout, i think they had a 20 left, regroup. He'll get it with experience, how many game winners has he hit for us now, i lost count. With the game on the line, I would give him the ball all the time.

i agree... although i'm OK w/Nate having the ball in a last second scenario, it's alot easier to double team & smother him... 1 on 1 Nate can blow past anyone & get to the lane, but Craw is better at those running tear drop shots that can get over the shotblockers in the lane... plus he's so good at making those terrible off balance shots, u just take your chances w/Jamal... he's got zero fear to fail

they did have at least one tiemout- teh nuggets called it after jamal hit the three. but najera probably had the right idea to go for the quick basket two on one, good play to make up for his mistake by jamal.

jamal is a clutch shooter and defender. not so much a clutch passer.
