Greg Oden VS Andrew Bynum.

In a few years, who will be the better NBA center out of these two? Greg Oden could've been in the NBA this year if it wasn't for the under 18 restriction rule. He's going to OSU but will probably declare for the NBA after his first year. Andrew Bynum who is only three months older than him is already in the NBA, even though he's getting alot of playing time because of injuries, he is learning from Kareem who is the all-time scorer in the NBA . So Bynum would already have two years of NBA experience before Oden ever gets drafted.

But coming out of highschool Oden was considered more polished.

Oden.....Bynum will always have a problem when it comes to his weight, IMO. He'll always have that question mark. Plus I think Oden is more athletic and longer.

Let's watch Oden play a division 1 game before declaring anything.

I'd say Oden, but we'll see. Oden, Bynum, Dwight Howard, Yao... the center position has returned in the NBA.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You left out Curry!

Dwight Howard seems like he could be the best of the bunch. It'll be interesting to see Oden in the NCAAs this year.

Oden is a freak of nature-he may end of being in a league of his own. Bynum is more of a Duncan type player--not athletic like Oden, but the thing with AB is his touch and ball skills. How can you stop a 7-1 280+ guy with a good touch? If he catches the ball in the low post and he is automatic---what can you do to stop it? Oden on the other hand is skilled and very athletic at the same size. i would think you would need one of these types of guys to win the big one down the line?

Briggs - with all of your good scouting on potential picks you have come up with some great ones - however I was thinking about this today as Bynum is blowing up all over the ESPN highlight reels...would he, or any other player the Knicks have passed on, been as good if they were in an NY uniform? I think a lot of players get worse when they start plyaing here and the youngins have their growth stunted.

there is something to that, but that dude is going to be special no matter the circumstance. he had a very similar game as curry did tonight, every time he was near zach randolph, there was a foul call and they didnt go to him in the post--if you dont get the ball, you dont score.

yeah, I think playing with Kobe may hinder his development a little.
