Good call. I haven't seen but 1/2 of a game this year but from what people are saying, Lee is one of the few players playing well. If you think extra muscle is an issue with him, hopefully he and the trainers realize it (in time) so he can imrove some more.

How much weight did he put on again? What do you all think is his ideal weight. His game is partly his athleticism and the rest with will, so I can see the truth in the extra muscle being too much.

He is averaging 9 rebounds a game, he is attempting to guard someone and still plays above the rim. The first game there was a couple of times he should have dunked and he didnt. If he played 30 minutes a game he would average a double- double would that be enough from the 30th pick in the draft?

why set the bar low? it's obvious to me that he isn't as quick as he was last year--i think david's game is built on speed and explosion. he doesnt need those 20 pds, and like ok4 said--it led to injury and other problems. ok4 still averaged big rebounds last year as well--but in the long run david is probably best at 240

I can agree with that statment but soley playing the 4 he would get killed trying to guard at that position. I think he will be starting soon and I think he will do a good job. I think by Jan he will be back to about 248 and that will be a good weight.

briggs.. King is right. He will play his way down to an acceptable weight. Its a good strategy too. You have to add muscle in the off-season.. and strip the fat during the season. Hopefully Frye does the same.
