Monday's Worst
Knicks forward Channing Frye: You're the bright spot, an all-rookie selection last year. That's why an 0-for-5 outing from the field in 13 minutes is downright puzzling.

This kid has a lot of nerve, not only because I would be in first in my fantasy league if he played just horrible, instead of an NBDL player, which is what he is right now. But he may be more delusional than Ariza, who at least didn't cost the team every defensive possession.

4 Games
3.5pts 2.4rbs 0.3blks 0.8ass 9to's

NO TRIPS TO THE LINE
7-32 from the field 22% shooting

JUST PLAY HARD and shut up

i'm failing to see what's so wrong about that quote... maybe it's just me... it's clear to anyone watching him play that he's clearly lost so far this season... he said he's puzzled w/his performance... last year he was runner up in the ROY voting & just about every Knick fan was gushing about his upside... what more are you reading into there?

Last year means nothing go about your business. The team won 23 games being a bright spot is nothing to mention.

AS Barkley always said no matter how off you are you can still rebound and defend and do the little things we need to win. Playing 23 mintues a game he should be getting more than 2.4 rebounds he is not being aggressive and is moping out there instead of getting after it

ok, i guess u took the comment in a different light... i took it more as him saying he was puzzled himself over his own performance, not as him saying he should be getting more minutes & shots based on his performance last season.

Now that's a telling quote, if there ever was one.

Fry is young player and need a Couch.
IT is garbage couch for bigs. He is guard couch.
The IT system is not for Fry by definition.
Fry is so unfortunate that he is on the Knicks and that LB was dumped.
He was great last year only because LB couching and system.
Imagine him for example on Spurs with Pop and Dunkin around. This will be his style of game, his type of players to look at instead of looking on lazy, selfish and stupind curry-like and Marbs-like
Unfortunately I can see a big setback in his development this year.

Yeah, IT did a horrible job coaching J Oneal (allstar) and Brad Miller (allstar).

He had nothing to do with Miller being an All-Star, Miller came over to the Pacers averaging 12 & 8, he made the All-Star game as a King because the offense catered to his strength which is pass the ball, handoffs and jump shots.

And I am sure playing with Rasheed Wallace, Brain Grant and Sabonis had nothing to do with his progression as a player. All he need was time which he got in Indiana.

He lost in the playoffs to the celtics with Miller, O'Neil, Harrington, Artest, and Reggie so lets not act like Zeke is some sort of guru, please. They lost in the first round all three years, and don't give me they took the nets to five games as a number 8 seed, because that team was like the 99' knicks and began to mesh late
