Knicks have a log jam at guard and frye sucks. Duh. Denver needs a shooting guard.craw is definately available.

Reggie Evans and joe smith are not even playing and they both are healthy. Real GM has an article about it. Knicks need Reggie Evans. Dude does everything we need. Rebound and play ball squeezin defense, lol.

If the knicks dangle frye and craw they might be able to get nene or k-mart.

Its still early but to me by the 10th game if the knicks haven't made a big stride in terms of cohesiveness, something should be in the works by then.

I would not be against having Reggie Reacharound here. But 10 games isn't enough to start shipping guys out. I think we should wait until mid-December the earliest.

Good thought Eny. I'm not so sure how inclined the Nuggets will be to trade Nene though, since they just resigned him to a 5yr deal over the summer. I would be VERY interested in JR Smith and word on the street is that the Nuggets are shopping him.

he's averaging 10 ppg in his first 2 games on his new team & they're being rumored to be shopping him? i wonder if there's some bad off the court issues going on there, like he's not getting along w/George Karl

I'm just throwing stuff around but I think Reggie Evans could come here and contribute. He loved his job in Seattle and that was to basically protect the perimeter players. He did a good job. In Denver he held it down last year and in the playoffs just being an enforcer. He is good at it.

Curry needs an enforcer. Ewing was great on his own but oakley had his back. Oak needed a body on him cuz he was so good at getting rebounds. I think Reggie Evans can being that here to ny and help curry.

David lee is good but I think we understand that lee can't be a big minute starter. Lee needs to get his high 20's so he can do his thing. Reggie can get the rebounds curry misses. Reggie is a guy that can get you 20 rebounds on his own any given night.

I'm gushing a little. Its just I can't fix my fantasy teams cuz I still don't have home internet access. I need to make a trade already!

Denver's talking to the Clippers about Maggette, apparently. They already have JR smith, and I guess they want to include him in that deal...

What are the clippers looking for exactly? They have everything. Why do they even have to make a trade? I think their team is as complete as you are gonna find.

Can the knicks use corey maggette. Hell freakin yes. Cory gets to the line like no other and is a nice scorer, when healthy. Can the knicks win with Cory and Q back together? Maybe but can that get done and is it even worth it?

the Knicks need a shotblocker, not another swingman who can score.

Dude if you can find that shot blocker and smuggle him over from shotblockawaka land and sign him for the bare minimum I will stop playing around and tell mofos where I left Jimmy hoffa.

If you google maggette & j r smith you'll see the rumor (http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-cliprep3nov03,1,1632709.story?track=rss&ctrack=1&cset=true). Its Denver's asking, it seems. Although, last year Denver was the worst in the league in 3 pt shooting, and maggette doesn't really address outside shooting... he's more of a slasher (hence the FTs).

Hunter and Dalembert are both nice. The birdman will come off of suspension after this season. Dalembert has a rediculous contract, and hasn't really played up to it. I agree about Maggette. There was talk of him for Rashard Lewis, Artest, Stojakovic last season.

if the Knicks were willing to trade Frye they would have some options. If I could get Reggie and Joe Smith (expiring) for Crawford and Frye I would look at that. Denver has 2 first rounders this year. If I can get them both I would offer them Frye and their choice of Crawford or Q. The picks will probably in the late teens to 20s.

Start REALLY building this team's young core and get rid of all contracts that run past 3 years when Franbury expires.

Reggie Evans would be outstanding. I would do Craw straight-up for him and then try to package Frye and Francis/Marbury for a star who doesn't play PG.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Craw makes about double what Evans is making so that won't work... u'd have to get them to throw in Najera or Boykins as cap filler... DEN values all 3 of those guys so i don't think they'd give up 2 for Jamal the way he's playing right now.

the Marbury & Frye for a star non PG deal i'd do in a heartbeat, but will Isiah?
