I think IT after about 20 games needs to pick Frye and Lee and go with them as the starter. The other person I would trade. Both Lee and Frye can help you get rid of a bad contract like Francis or Crawford. That gives you versatility in building a team, and some salary cap relief. Frye and Lee have high trade value, and you have to get rid of another bad contract.

there is no doubt about it, i would go down this alley. you have to give up something to get--but i would certainly be looking at chicago FIRST. I think they like both players

Frye was a lottery pick and should be much better than Lee at this stage. The bottom line he isnt I know that Memphis and Chicago like Lee. Let Frye start another 6 or 7 games and if he stays one dimensional start Lee. You cant blame this on IT Lee is driving to the basket and not roaming on the perimeter. Frye has the talent he just needs to start playing like he is capable. I would be really surprised if Frye, Lee and Nate are all on this team by the end of the year

The good parts of this team are young and should be kept together.

You think if Frye picks it up (basically shows that he can score again) we might be able to package him with Big Game and send them to Dallas for Croshere (possibly a future pick also)?

I feel like packaging Francis and Crawford with Frye or Lee would be a waste because I think we might be able to trade either Craw or Franchise for an expiring by themselves.

I do agree though that Crawford is one of the guys we should look to move for an expiring. Hopefully, he picks it up so that we can find a taker. James though, is probably the first guy I would try to trade because of the length of his contract.

i don't think losing jerome james' contract warrants giving up frye. even though frye has been poor the first 3 games, you can't trade him with jerome for croshere, because frye still has the potential to be someone to build around. if we trade him I'd want another young player back, maybe someone who is more defensive minded.

I hate the idea of trading Frye to get rid of Jerome, but I think it could be the only or one of the only ways to do it. If we could get a future first from Dallas, I think I would seriously consider pulling the trigger on that.

Not right now of course, I think we should wait a little more to see how Lee and Frye perform as king said.
