Dallas Trade Breakdown Outgoing Austin Croshere 6-9 PF from Providence 8.2 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.2 apg in 22.9 minutes Josh Howard 6-5 SF from Wake Forrest 15.6 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 32.5 minutes Incoming Jamal Crawford 6-5 SG from Michigan 14.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 3.8 apg in 32.3 minutes Channing Frye 6-11 C from Arizona 12.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 0.8 apg in 24.2 minutes Change in team outlook: +2.8 ppg, -2.7 rpg, and +1.5 apg.
Successful Scenario Due to New York and Dallas being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York and Dallas had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Starting Lineup of: PG- Francis SG- QRich SF- Howard/Jeffries PF- Jeffries/Howard C- Curry
that is a good balanced team.
I like frye, but i think his potential is a bit limited, while howard is developing a great game.
