if it were on the table, yes i would... chances are u can get a nice player for midlevel dollars as well as the pick... obviously for the same reasons it's not likely MIN would make the deal.

if u get a trade exception u figure u can easily turn that around for a player that can help you win games now, plus the 1st round pick with which you can hopefully get a player w/the same type of upside that Nate has down the road.

I'd trade nate for a 2007 draft pick. The 2007 draft will be known as the best ever. Better than Lebron, Wade, Melo, Bosh, Kaman, etc.

How come?

Oden may or may not come out, it depends on how he returns from injury. While I think he will be in the draft, I don't think its a guarentee.
