Am I the only person that thought the Knicks didnt look too bad against the pacers? Sure, the defense could be better but I thought the knicks when they played zone looked good--the problem was Indiana is a VERY good team who shot very well. At the beginning of the 3rd quarter the pacers shot 11 for 11. Even if your giving up open shots (which we werent) a team should miss something.

I think Curry looks very good and should get better as the season goes on. Francis, richardson, nate, Lee all look good and should get better. Crawford looks lost but once his shot starts to fall he will be better. The offense with more running is fun to watch.

The main problem of course is marbury right now. I dont hate Marbury but if you look at teams in the NBA they all have a superstar who can control a game. Look at the last 2 games with Joe Johnson and Harrington. They willed those 2 victories. Even when people criticize Marburys game he has stats. Now in these games with a few flashes all he does is dribble up and pass. He barely penetrates and scores, no great passes to other players to set up easy scores and he barely can hit outside shots. Hes throwing some terrible passes and turning the ball over way too much. I dont believe its the offensive scheme. He may not dominate the offense but if he could make good passes and hit open shots thats the difference.

I do see alot of improvement in this team and if crawford and esp. Marbury start playing better I think the Knicks could be a good team.

the Pacers did whatever they wanted. the Knicks didn't give up, but when the Pacers needed to do something, they did it. end of story.

not to mention they got all of the rebounds and socend chances down the stretch.

but I don't disagree with anything that bigreddog said. we just need our key players to play like ley players.

Indiana shot very well? They had something like 35% at the end of the half. That is not an exageration. Indiana hardly broke a sweat. They had to shoot 11 for 11 to get back to a respectable shooting %. Marbury is not the main problem. He hardly played. And his low minutes are not the responsible for the loss. The team is the main problem. They wern't able to put together any offensive strategy except for 20 seconds before the end of the first half and during the third quarter. To put it plainly the team played flat and clumsy. This is not to say they wont get better. But don't say that Indiana played well and deffinately dont say that the Knicks looked good. We'll see tonight if they learned their lesson during extra practice yesterday.

Yeah, I think you are the only one. If just showing up for the game looks good to you, then LOL.
I'll never trust this' team again.
