sit Frye and let him play with Lee on the second team with Crawford and Robinson. Start Cato and give him a chance and see if he can help any.

don't disrupt david b/c he's doing well in the 2nd unit.

but at this point, does it even matter? all we can ask for is that the young guys develop b/c we're not winning any games this year.

Curry, Cato, Q, Steph, and Francis get down 15 and then go with the younger guys. This team has some pieces for the future just not right now,.

I think that will be the KNicks best lineup until Jefferies is ready. Marbury is a curse and the Knicks need to make a decision on him, bench or cut him.

Seriously Steph has some problems with his legs
He cannot jump as well he did before and his movement site to site giving him some problems.
Thats why he cannot defend anybody any more and drive to the basket as he did before.
And his game is 100% based on athletism...

Looks like his time is over. If he cannot move to secondary roles he will retire soon.

why on earth would u start Cato? Lee is the guy who needs to be starting... Frye needs to become more involved in the offense, & that can happen by allowing him to be the focal point down low playing w/the 2nd unit... Lee doesn't need the ball to be effective... he's a perfect compliment to Curry.

b/c lee is comfortable in the 2nd unit and is doing well there. cato's a vet and has started before. we actually need that type of presence in the 1st unit frontcourt.

Well, I am not saying Cato is a HUGE upgrade, and maybe he is just not in shape yet, but his experience/vet savy should make hit a better player against starting PFs of the league.

Lee has not shown a jumpshot this year and always goes left on the dribble. It just would be better to have him and Frye against non-starters.

the thing is, Lee doesn't need to show any jumpshot... playing alongside Curry, Marbs, Q & Francis, all Lee would need to do is what he does best... make hustle plays, rebound & run the floor... for the most part this season he's been playing against starters anyway (Channing's been on the bench w/early foul trouble in the first 2 games)... Cato is way too immobile to guard most of the 4's in this league... he's a backup C who can give u some rebounding & shotblocking... we can't seriously look to him to be any part of the solution in the starting rotation... Lee would be averaging a double double easily given starting minutes.

I like lee, but lets keep perspective. In games where lee played 17+ minutes we went 9-23 = .281

For the season overall we went 23-59 = .280

I thought Cato was a slow center even in his prime. Now that he's old and slower, I can't imagine him gaurding PFs.
