Listen to everything he says. He is the knx lead cheerleader. Fits the Dolan mold-say good things only, look only at the bright side the future is better. Only point out the obvious.

You live up to your name, Sage. :P No, I agree. So far I've not been pleased with Zeke's evaluation of the team in any context during his interviews. He's doing a little too much coddling, and needs to be more direct. The fans are catching on and will not be happy of more Layden-like interviews, when the guy talks and just won't say anything, especially anything of substance. We don't want to hear, "the team played well", during a 10+ point loss. We do want to hear things to the effect of, "We understand why things didn't work out the way we hoped tonight, and we're going to head back, work on those things and try to turn the season around." Saying otherwise just makes you sound foolish. Being able to admit when things aren't going perfect, and saying you know why it's happening, and know how to fix it, is the kind of honesty that draws the fans in.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You guys are idiots.

Larry brown did a terrible job the entire year yet he still is respected because of what he did in the past.

3 games in and isiah is a bad coach?

When I said that about brown 3 games in people dogged me. Brown had frye on inactive on the first game and already was flip flopping everything.

Isiah has actually won a game. They almost came back and beat indiana. In Atlanta they just had no answer for joe Johnson.

The knicks if anything are playing hard and giving full effort. They are still getting used to the new offense and they are showing signs.

79 More games. Q rich, curry, lee, Nate, balkman have all played great. Knicks are still waiting for marbs, Francis and craw to settle down. I think if those 3 guys can find a balance or if isiah can trade one of them they will be alright.

Watch a game. Aint nothing to really pout about. Last year the first game didn't have frye. Antonio davis and Matt Barnes was the starters.

I'm not going back and forth. All I gotta say to you cry babies is root for your team. Isiah is not the problem right now. If the knicks still are all over the place by the 10th game then you guys can talk. Still itsbot even about coaching. Its about players meshing. I believe it will come.

his players. his team. he's the coach. how in the blue hell could he not be the problem?

oh, i get it, if the team blows, it's the players...unless lb is coaching.

Do you really expect the Knicks to go from the chaos of last season to perfection this season in three games? They are giving an effort for Isiah. Now they need to play smarter, and I think Marbury and Francis need to be split up.

We are talking about basketball. What does all of that have to do with the fact that you are and idiot when it comes to basketball?

You can add to the argument if you like but I'm done with it.

As far as this thread. Isiah has been a coach 3 games and the play has been stronger than last year. It will get better. Like I said 10 games should be enough to decide.

Just to add. If frye and the trio of marbs, Fran and craw can settle down the knicks might be 3-0. It will get better.

zeke's coaching may be a little different from last year's self proclaim winner but at least our season did not start with a 5 game losing streak

Let’s talk basketball couching
I am not a guru in this area just a fan
I believe there are a lot of posters on the thread who know better and can add a lot on knowledgeable observations.
This is what I see from IT as a couch after first 3 games:
1. Starting line up is not good in my opinion - Steve and Steph should not play together. Fry should not start or Q should start at 2 and Lee at 3. This was not working since 1st game and no adjustments made. Jeffries went down and it looks like it was no backup plan for starting lineup
2. Multiple times IT kept players who are not doing well, not executing the game plan, and frustrated on the flour. Result - falling behind, turnovers, technical
3. Players will consecutive falls and fall trouble was not taking out - result fouled out players
4. A lot of times IT took players with the hot hand out of the game just to bring back players who supposed to get min because of salary and we saw lead going away or deficit increases
5. The clock management and control of the clock and tempo was harebell - result we was not able to preserver the lead and keep game close after getting back
6. Timeouts was taken erratic and execution after timeout was Ok only sometimes in 3rd game

As with any job any person need a practice and after 3 years IT lost even what he had like a couch.
he was never a genius anyway.
I hope he will get better over time.. if he will get the time...


So let’s stop calling people an idiots, etc. and start talking basketball.
Let’s show that at least Knick fans are about bbal not about the other personal sht.

What's he supposed to say? We suck! How's that going to help us? If the media gets a hold of something like that, they'll be a bunch of voltures again and cause problems with the fans.
