Call IT in for a "personal" meeting and say to Thomas:

If you lose the next game, you are done.

I don't care what your excuses are. I don't care if Jeffries is out. I don't care if Marbs, Frye, Craw have been stinking it up. Pull them and sit them.

If you need defense, put Cato in the game. Enforce on some people. Don't let these guys come into the Garden and make a mockery of the team.

Lose the next one and you wont even have the chance to clear out your office. You'll get Chaney treatment - shown the door by security guards...

The truth of the matter probably is that Dolan can not fire IT while the Anucha case is pending.

that's a really smart way to run a business. it's that attitude that gets Dolan in trouble all the time.

what Dolan should do is call Isiah in and say: what's your 5 year plan for this team and if he thinks it's unreasonable or finds out Isiah doesn't have one, fire him. but Dolan probably doesn't know what a 5 year plan is.

Thats the problem. The guy that Isiah is reporting to is Dolan who doesn't know sh!t about basketball.

no, but if we are 3-9 or something of that ilk, pull the plug.only remain patient if things are kept close to .500--any material slip---done.its fair because we need time looking for the next person we need this lb anuchagate isiah pocorn ending contract gig OUT ASAP--but be fair about it--one more bad slip and cut the throat. you CANNOT go 5 below 500

You haven't seen enough since Isiah has been here? When is it not early anymore, when the season is over? When can people react the way they want?

basically it's not too early anymore whenever it's convenient for you. for instance, after a season+ of solid play, it's still too early to say whether lee is better than most 2nd round draft picks. but after 3 bad games this season, it is not too early to call frye the next brian cook

see, its easy

Aren't we talking about the Knicks being 1-2 and playing 3 pretty bad games after a year that they won 23 games and have had losing seasons since 2001?

If thats not to early for concern than I don't know what it is

Dolan gave him one year. A year is a year, but a contract is a contract and Brown got thrown out the door, with four years left and who knows what he got? I still don't understand why the Knicks can't do the same to starbury? How come he's not being accused of not living up to his contract and taken to Sterns court?
I'll never trust this' team again.

I work for a guy like that. He's put into a VIP like position and doesn't have a clue! That's the most frustrating thing about the place I work at.

The Anucha (or w/e her name is) case isn't going well at all so maybe Dolan's decision will get a lot easier soon.
